Chapter 22 Polly leaves

Betty left the hospital and went home with Arlo to see her mom and there was a black hood letter that was in the newspaper then Alice gave a look at Betty what she gave her mom and called Polly and Charles to come home to talk about it so they came but they didn't read the newspaper.

Hal came back from work and looked at Betty then went upstairs to his room and Alice rolled her eyes knowing that he was being very odd because he would normally hit Betty or the dog but he didn't there was anger in his eyes and wanted to take it out on someone but couldn't so he left and went upstairs.

"Mom Polly is here with the twins and Charles" "Hi Betty wait what are you hiding?" "Polly don't *takes newspaper and reads it after placing the twins on the table in their baskets Charles brought through*" The two of them read the paper and she slammed it down saying she won't raise her babies in a town where a killer is out for peoples blood and Charles tried talking to her but she stormed off into her bedroom and he told Betty to watch the twins and he will go talk to her. "Mom that didn't go as planned" "Don't worry Betty she won't leave she always said which she did leave but this time just because of a Killer no way" Juniper woke up and started to whine a bit and she fed her a bottle then Sweetpea called Betty she answered, "Hey Betty are you busy right now? *hears a baby coos* whose that?" "Hi Sweetpea its a baby whats up" "Ok right we need you down by the Whyte Wyrm we got a problem" "Sweetpea where is Jughead why can't he help" "He has gone on a quick trip with FP on their bikes so they won't be back for a few hours" "*sighs* ok...i'm coming come pick me up" "ok bye" Betty let out a big sigh and put Juniper back in her basket to play with her stuffed toy and Dagwood slept peacefully. Arlo was walking with Betty but this time he couldn't and she explained why and Arlo jumped onto the sofa and went to sleep. Betty got her serpent jacket on and told Alice shes going and Sweetpea came and picked her up.

Polly was upstairs freaking out and pacing in her room and was annoyed Charles walked in and held Polly by her shoulders and hugged her and told him shes going to go to the farm they have room for her and Jason hasn't spoke to Polly since the breakup and she thinks he has cut her out of his life and walked out of her room and went downstairs and yelled to her mom to watch the twins while she and Charles have went out. Hal came out of hiding and tried to kick the dog but he growled and lay back down on the sofa opposite the babies watching them and Alice was getting dinner on the go for when everyone comes back. "So looks like we have finally came to our senses then Alice" "Hal im not telling you again we can't kill the dog" "No Alice the other one" "Hal no...we can't do that to Jason" "Ugh ok fine!"

Betty got off Sweetpea motorbike and walked in to see Penny sitting down in a chair with a pocket knife and had a shocked face on her to see Betty, "PONYTAIL IS THAT YOU!" "Yes it is now what the hell do you want" "Wait...how do you know Betty" "She never told you *chuckles* well lets say she did something very bad before coming to Riverdale...isn't that right" "You better shut up!" "Or what your gonna go home and cry to daddy to make him hit you again *chuckles* your useless no one will ever love you Ponytail" Betty moved Fangs out the way and punched Penny in the face millions of times then Sweetpea picked her up by the waist to stop her but she got out and kicked Penny unconscious and Betty stepped back and came back from her dark side and ran outside and bumped into Jughead on the way out. He walked to where she ran from and blood was everywhere and Penny was sitting in the chair unconscious and gasped at the state of Penny then ran out to Betty and saw her crying on his bike he ran over and hugged her and made Betty tell him what made her do that. She told him that when she was back at home Betty would be going out doing drugs and going to parties and one of those parties Penny was there and Betty was drunk at the time at the party and when she was getting ready to cut herself some cake a guy scared her and she stabbed him by accident and Betty left the party and threw up outside and Penny saw it all and told Hal and Alice and they left the next day and moved to Riverdale to get away from her dark past. Jughead saw Betty crying while she was telling him and he kissed her and hugged her letting her know she has Jughead by her side if anything like that happens she smiled and hugged Jughead then they both wen back in.

Penny woke up by a bucket of water being dunked onto her and Jughead started to ask questions about why she was with the serpents even though she's one herself. "Start talking we did what you asked so why you back?" "I'll tell ya....I heard Ponytail over there was joining well I want her out and me back in" "no deal leave and baby sit your ghoulies" "PENNY WAIT! The jacket we want it back" "sure *throws it to Fangs* have fun Jonsey....it would be a shame if your dad knew what your girlfriend did" Then she left the Wyrm then Jughead took Betty back home.

Polly was at Cheryls house and asked for Jason and Polly and Charles was invited in and Penelope asked where the twins were and she told her they are at home with Betty then Jason came in and looked at Polly then sat down next to Cheryl. "So Polly why are you here...with Charles too" "Well im just saying that me and the twins are going to the farm away from all of this because its the only place that will take me in" "Sweet cousin Polly we don't want you to go Jason will go with you" "Cheryl i don't think i want to because Juniper and Dagwood have their mom so it's ok" "Jason what do you have against me? i have done nothing but love you and you was so happy when you found out i had the twins now my family is back your acting different if you don't like my mom, dad or even Betty i'm leaving you because i still love you no matter how much you pushed me away" "Polly come on he doesn't want to talk to us" "Polly wait! I'll talk to him make him change his mind" "No Cheryl its his time to think it through" Polly stood up with Charles and got into the car then drove back home from Thistlehouse and she was looking out the window reminding herself all the fun and loving memories of her and Jason. It broke her that Jason broke up with her and she knew she had Betty and Charles for support. That night the got everything together from her apartment which was Jasons now and went back to Bettys lying to her mom that she is staying the nigh but she actually left home that night when everyone was asleep except Betty she secretly had Jughead over.

Betty came out the kitchen and saw Polly with the pushchair with the twins in and asked what she was doing. "Polly where you going i thought you was staying the night with the twins" "im not im going to the farm i made last minute reservations for me and the twins" "Polly promise to call me when you reach there and call me everyday please" "I will Betty...wanna say bye to the lil ones you guys? Jughead that means you too if you want" "Sure why not but we gotta stay quiet" The three laughed and Betty looked at Polly smiling with tears in both of their eyes and Jughead kissed Dagwood on the head lightly while Betty held and kissed Juniper then they both swapped and Polly hugged them both saying thank you but she has to go and will be back soon. "Here you go Polly two amazing twins ready to be carrot pickers *all laugh*" "Bye guys...*turns and hugs Betty and Jughead bye* im gonna miss you guys bye love you!" They all waved bye and shut the door silently Betty broke into tears and he held her close to him and cuddled on the sofa till Jughead had to go home.
