     After potions class, the day seems to continue just as normal. I had learnt numerous spells and magic throughout the day. Oh how i wished reality was like this. I was feeling happy and light on my shoulder as all the burden and sadness was just gone in a snap of a finger.

We had herbalogy class for our last lesson of the day. Professor sprout, who was teaching us on herbalogy teached us about mundane plants and fungi. While handling our own plants,  Neville on the other hand was such a sweetheart. He had helped me countless time as i was new to the herbalogy lesson.

After finishing our herbology class we were going to clean ourselves up and have dinner at the great hall with all the students and professors.

I was thrilled to experience the dining in the great hall for the first time but haplessly i have to attend Snape's detention with that impudent boy Malfoy.

After having our dinner in the great hall i leave with no choice whatsoever to go to detention leaving my friends at the great hall. As i entered Snape's office i saw Draco leaning against the brick wall looking down as if his mind was disturbed about something. Without saying anything i entered the room and sit on the chair prepared. Draco noticed my presence in the office and decided to just ignore me. After five minutes has passed Snape had entered his office " Malfoy and Allman please be seated and do not make any noise".

During detention i could feel Draco's eyes staring at me blankly. I turned my head to Draco and our eyes met. I felt an instant soul connection on the way he looks at me, how his eyes sparkles on me.

I instantly pulled my gaze away from him telling myself that i needed to pull my thoughts away from Draco, but my feelings refused to leave him.

As time has passed detention was finally over i felt relived. Detention was cold and the office was fueled with akward tension lingering around the empty spaces.

As i walk at the corridors heading up to the common room i noticed Draco was following me from behind. I could not help myself but to stop where i was and asked him " why are you following dont you have anything better to do".

His smirk grew and his eyes were on mine he replied " Heather would you like to go to the library with me tomorrow? ".

My eyes grew larger in disbelief with so many questions run through my head. Why is he asking me out all of the sudden? is this just one of his stupid jokes? i asked myself. But so decided to agree to Draco

I told myself there would be no harm if i could get closer to Draco. After i agreed to his proposal he smiled awkwardly and left me and said " Goodnight Heather " as he walks away from me i can only see his shadow became smaller and smaller away from me.

I couldn't help but smile as i was excited on tomorrow's plan. I proceed walking to the common room with a smile plastered on my face, butterflies on my stomach and head to bed.
