CALLIE'S POV:
"Get down here Callie, I need your help!" Mary yells. Mary is the person in charge of all of the kids living in the Blue Field Adoption center.
"Coming in a second Mary!" I yelled back.
I am 16 years old, and been here since I was 5. Right now I am currently the oldest in the center and been adopted 6 times. They only lasted for about 2 weeks each and I was sent back because they found out about my past.
I ran down the stairs and into the kitchen to see what Mary wanted. She was sitting at the counter top with her head in her hands staring at bills.
"I need you to go to that concert tonight at Calight Stadium and stand at the entrance and beg for money. The bills just came again and we just don't have enough Cal. There is barley enough food to go around and you cant keep giving your food to help feed the younger kids. Can you please just do this for me?" Callie exclaimed.
"Fine I will. Let me just go upstairs and get my sign." I said back in defeat.
I bolted up the stairs and to the left into my room. Yes, I have my own room. I'm the oldest so I get a phone and my own room because its pretty clear that I will never get adopted.
I changed into skinny jeans and a white crop top. I put on my converse and grabbed a sweatshirt and headed downstairs to say goodnight to the kids and Mary. I know I look convincingly rich to be wearing these clothes begging for money but before my parents died they left me a lot of money. I have some kept away for clothes and for when I'm 18 but I mostly gave all of it to Blue Field, to keep it running.
"Bye guys, Ill be back late tonight!!!" I screamed while running out the door. I heard a bunch of little byes and be safes back.
The Stadium is only 2 miles away so it was just best if I ran there. While I was running I accidentally made a wrong turn and ended up at the back of the stadium.
As I continued running I bumped into 2 girls. One was short with long black hair and a bow and the other was tall with long brown hair and a snap back. I mumbled sorry and turned to start to run again.
"Hey are you going to the show tonight?" The short one called out.
"You could say that!" I answered.
"After the show come back to this area, I want to meet you but we really have to go." She said.
I nodded my head and started jogging. Why would someone be so nice to me? All my life no one has ever cared. That weird. I got to the front of the building and held up me sign. The sign read "Please Donate money to the Blue Fields Adoption Center. We have 20 kids living there and not enough money to play the bills."
Every 5 minutes or so people would give about 2-3 dollars. Not that I'm complaining. As the night carried on I got a total of $200!!! That was the best, the people were so nice so I wonder who was playing.
I looked up to the sign above the stadium and it said "Fifth Harmony". I never heard of them before but then again, I don't get out of the center much. Once everyone was inside I leaned up against the arena and dedided to take a nap with the sign leaning up against me in the hopes of getting more money.
