Chapter 12- Kill them

Xingchen's eyes widened, "What?! What do you mean she's pregnant? By who?"
His mother smiled widely, "She says it was you. Congratulations darling, you're going to be a father!"
The young man shook his head, "No...this wasn't supposed to happen! I only fucked her because I needed a distraction she means nothing to me! Nor does the baby, I don't love them!"
"Xingchen! What are you saying?! She's you're fiancé, and she is pregnant. You should be happy!" His mother said.
"I don't love her, and I'm not happy that she is pregnant. I only did it because I was sad and angry and needed a distraction, she is nothing but a one night stand," Xingchen said causing Mingmei to flinch.
"Watch your words!" Xingchen's mother said.
"No! Why should I?" Xingchen yelled.
"She is pregnant and we can stress her out, then the baby will be hurt," the older woman said.
"Well good! I hope it does!" Xingchen yelled back.
"Please! Stop arguing, Prince Xingchen don't talk about the baby that way, this isn't it's fault. And your majesty, let's just go and rest," Mingmei said.
Xingchen's mother sighed, "You're right, I shouldn't rile myself up over something so small. Let's go darling," she grabbed Mingmei's arm and walked her out of the room leaving Xingchen alone.
The man looked down in shame and anger, why did he have to use her as a distraction? Couldn't he have used something else?

"Wen Qing, I need a favor," Xue Yang said. He had met up with the woman in the forest after hearing about Mingmei's pregnancy.
"Sure, what is it?" The woman asked.
"I need you to kill Princess Mingmei's baby," Xue Yang said.
Wen Qing's eyes widened, "What? Why?"
"Just do it! I'm not asking you!" Xue Yang yelled.
"Hey! Calm down," she said grabbing his shoulders, "you don't usually get this riled up. What happened?" Xue Yang broke down and dropped his head on her shoulder, Wen Qing was shocked, "Xue Yang, what happened honey?"
"He-he had s-sex with h-her," he sobbed.
"Who darling? Who hurt you like this?" Wen Qing asked softly.
"X-xingchen," Xue Yang said crying harder.
"Hey, hey, it's alright. Come on breath with me, in...and out...that's good now again. In....and out..you're alright," the woman said. After a while Xue Yang calmed down and he only had sore eyes and a killer headache.
"I'm fine now, thanks," Xue Yang said.
"Now tell me, what happened?" Wen Qing asked.
"You remember that mission Boss gave me? Well I couldn't kill him, because I fell in love," Xue Yang said softly, his breath trembled and he was shaking.
"It's alright, and then what happened?"
"He went with Princess Mingmei, he even got her pregnant," he began to cry softly again.
"Shhh, it's alright. So now you want me to kill the baby right?" Wen Qing asked.
"Yes," Xue Yang mumbled nodding, his only way to get revenge or let his emotions out was by killing. He's been that way since his mother died and it never left him, he couldn't control it.
"Ok, are you sure you want me to? I don't want you regretting it," Wen Qing said.
"I'm positive," Xue Yang whispered.
"Then I will do it," she said and stood up, "I'll get the gang together and we can kill the baby. Don't worry, I got this."
"Wait! If you get caught just say Xue Yang sent you, they only know me as Chengmei," Xue Yang said.
"Alright," the woman nodded and walked away, "I love you!"
Xue Yang chuckled and yelled back, "Sure you do!" He went back to the castle and met up with Wei Ying and Jiang Cheng.
"Chengmei, where were you?" Wei Ying asked.
"I went out for a walk why?" Xue Yang asked.
"We were going to go down to the village with you but you weren't here so we went alone, you missed a good fight," Wei Ying said.
"Especially since you lost," Jiang Cheng said.
"I did no! It was you who lost!" Wei Ying said.
"No it was you!"
"It was you!"
Xue Yang stood between the men, "Alright break it up, it doesn't matter who won. Tell me what else you two di-" He broke off as he saw Xingchen walking towards him.
"Chengmei, there you are," the man said, "come with me."
"Wait, me and Jiang Cheng were about to take him somewhere," Wei Ying said.
"Really, where?" Xingchen asked suspicious.
"Uhh the...the new café! Yeah we were going to visit the new café and then go for a walk," the man in black said.
"Oh really? Well would you mind if I joined you?" Xingchen asked.
"Umm don't you have to take care of Princess Mingmei?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"No, I don't care about her or the baby," Xingchen said.
"But aren't you two getting married? You need to take care of her, besides we kind of wanted to go alone today. No offense!" Wei Ying said.
"Fine, I'll let you go this time. Mama will get mad at me if I go too," Xingchen said sighing, "Chengmei meet me tomorrow in the garden."
"Uh yeah sure I'll go," Xue Yang said smiling awkwardly.
"Great, you can go now."
"Thanks! Come on Chengmei," Wei Ying grabbed Jiang Cheng's and Xue Yang's arm and ran away.
They ran to a random café and sat down. It was a very cute and small shop and it looked pretty plain, it was cute nonetheless.
"What would you like to order?" A woman asked, she looked very familiar but Xue Yang couldn't quite point out what.
"Uh I'll just have a black coffee," Jiang Cheng said, he was staring at the woman with dreamy eyes.
"I'll have an iced coffee please," Wei Ying said.
"And you sir?" the woman said turning to Xue Yang.
"Umm I'll have a black coffee too," Xue Yang said.
"Alright, I'll be right back," she said and walked away.
"Jiang Cheng," Wei Ying said teasingly, "you liked her didn't you?"
"Shut up! No, I didn't!" The man said.
"Sure you didn't," Wei Ying said, "and it looks like Chengmei had a thing for her too."
"No it's just, she looked really familiar," Xue Yang said. Then it came it him, it was Wen Qing! His eyes widened and when she came back with their drinks he stood up, "Wen Qing, is it you?" He whispered.
"Yes, we got someone in the castle right now," she whispered back, "maybe today or tomorrow the kid will be dead."
"Thanks, I owe you one," Xue Yang said and sat back down once the woman left.
"What was that?" Jiang Cheng asked, "Do you know her?"
"I used to work with her," Xue Yang said, "she would also visit the north often."
"Really? What's her name? Does she belong to any of the kingdoms? How long have you known her?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"Relax Jiang Cheng, the poor guy just got to talk to a friend and you just try to kill him with questions?" Wei Ying said.
"No it's fine, he's just curious. Her name is Wen Qing and she belongs to the Wen King. And I've known her since childhood, she's like an older sister to me."
"Why is she working when she's from a main kingdom?" Wei Ying asked.
"She just always liked to work, but she gets found out a lot so she jumps around," Xue Yang replied.
"Well...she seems like a good person," Jiang Cheng said.
"Oooooh, Jiang Cheng~"
"Shut up!"
