KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

Shota waited exactly 2 seconds after knocking before he kicked Hizashi's door down. His eyes a blazing red, he streaked into the living room where Hizashi was coming to answer the door. Shota's hair started rising up, and his scarf wrapped around his friend.

"Yo Shota-" The scarf wound itself around Hizashi like a boa constrictor until he was having a hard time breathing.

"Uhh- Shota- what are you doing? Can you put me down?"

"What did you say on your podcast?"

"Hehe- nothing much. Just the usu-" The scarf tightened.

"OKAY OKAY- I mentioned your relationship a little." The scarf loosened temporarily. "Why are your eyes so red? Were you crying?" It squeezed even tighter than before.

"N-no. I didn't get enough sleep. Now what did you say? Specifically?" He growled.

"I can just play it for you. It'd be easier." Shota waited for Hizashi. "You have to put me down first."

"Fine." The scarf loosened, and wrapped back around Shota's neck. Hizashi went to his computer and played his newest podcast episode.

"GOOOOOOOOOOOD MOORRRRRRNING WORRRRLLLLLLD!!!!! Today I have IMPORTANT news!!! So... I'm meeting my friend Eraser Head's girlfriend tomorrow! He tells me his girlfriend is pretty hot. And that she is reallllllllllllly smart. And that he loves her very much." Shota paused the podcast.

"You say shit like this on every podcast?"

"It's not shit. It's interesting."

"It's my personal life, so it's my shit." Shota turned it back on.

"He didn't tell me who she was... which is why... I think it's Midnight!" Shota paused it again and looked at Hizashi. He sighed, and then continued playing it.

"Aizawa has had a crush on her since... well... since as long as I can remember. I mean, who's hotter than Midnight?! Hehe, don't tell her I said that. When we were in school at UA, everyone had a crush on her. That reminds me of the time we were playing spin the bottle, actually, it was like 6 months ago. Aizawa spun the bottle, it was a water bottle by the way. Keepin it PG-13! Anyways, it landed on Midnight, and he was super nervous, but they kissed! That's not the only reason I think it's her. Recently, they've been acting very strange around each other, keeping secrets. I walked in on them in the teacher lounge and they immediately stopped talking when I walked in."

"You idiot! I was being secretive with Nemuri. Do you know why?! I was getting a female opinion on what kind of engagement ring to get Y/n! And you wanna know why I didn't tell you?! The same reason why I didn't tell you Y/n's name! Because I know you can't keep any secrets!" Hizashi blushed red with embarrassment.

"So... uh... Y/n's your actual girlfriend huh?"

"Yes idiot. And for the record, I did have a crush on Nemuri, but that was years and years and years ago. Ugh."

"And uh... Y/n likes to listen to my podcast does she?"

"Unfortunately." Shota sat against the wall with his head in his hands. "You might have just ruined my only chance with her."

"No!" Hizashi shouted, jumping up. "We're turning this around right now!"

"No wonder she was like that when I came over." Shota murmured.

"Come on! You really love her, so she must feel the same way. We can save this. We've been up against worse. Besides, you didn't actually do anything wrong and I'll testify for you." Shota was so depressed, he didn't care that his best friend was dragging him by the shirt to the building elevator. Hizashi dragged him all the way to the underground garage.

Once they got to Shota's car, Hizashi sat in the driver's seat.

"Let me drive." Shota didn't say anything and simply leaned back into the passenger's seat, falling asleep immediately.

"Poor baby." Hizashi whispered. He took his phone out and snapped a picture. "Hehe." Eventually, Hizashi got to his intended destination, and after a few texts, she came into the car. The commotion woke Shota up, and he looked blearily at the woman.

"So Shota, having more lady problems?" Nemuri Kayama asked from the back seat.
