The next morning, Fern woke up at 6. Andre was still asleep at that time. She put the extra house keys on the dinner table with a note attached to it.

I'm off to work, I'm taking my bike, I left 100$ here for you to use if you want to go somewhere, see you later tonight,

Everyday passed with Fern and Andre's love in the air. They spent everyday together, they took trips to the movies, the park, and other places. Andre eventually got a job at Cafe Olimpico which makes them much, much closer. Nicholas got more and more jealous, he insisted on trips with Fern, that's why now Fern's booked everyday. Trips with Andre, trips with Nicholas. This all went on for a year, until a fine Sunday changed it all.

It was a Sunday noon, Fern just finished lunch and was sitting on the couch with Andre. They plan to watch a movie. Fern was just chillin with her favorite marshmallow pillow when her phone vibrated.

It was a text from Nicholas.

Nicholas: Hey, you free today?

Fern moved aside a bit before finally replying.

You: Yea, what's up?

Nicholas: Well, I thought, we could go to this restaurant, it has an amazing rooftop, with barbeque, DJ, decoration, so much! There's a party there, will you join me?

Fern thought of it for a while. She is technically free that night.

Oh well, let's go for it, Fern decided.

You: Of course! I'm excited!

Nicholas: Great! I'll pick you up at 6 PM, I'll pick you up in a car I recently got, dress nice! See you soon!

You: Alright, bye!

Fern put down her phone and got close to Andre again.

" Who was that? " Andre asked.

" Just Nicholas, he wants me to go out with him tonight, " Fern replied casually.

" Oh, " Andre replied.

He looked a bit, mixed up. Sad, disappointed, and perhaps a tint of loneliness.

" Anyway, what shall we do now? " Andre asked.

" We can still watch you know, I'm leaving at 6, it's still 2, I'll start preparing at 4, " Fern said.

" Alright then, let's go, " Andre said.

They turned the TV on and began watching anything played. They watched TV on the couch for about two hours before Fern excused herself. She went to her room to shower and prepare for the trip.

Hmmm what shall I wear? It's a party, so I should dress fancy, maybe a dress? Fern thought.

She spent 15 minutes browsing her closet for the perfect outfit. She paired multiple shoes and dresses together, along with the accessories she thought matched.

In the end, she decided to wear a white skater dress, which she paired with her black satchel bag, and her black wedges. She grabbed her black leather jacket as well. She piled her outfit on her bed and locked the bedroom door before going to the bathroom to shower.

She took a warm long shower. She still had a long time so she decided to relax herself in the shower. Releasing all the stress she received from working that week. She put on her soap and scrubbed it all over her body before rinsing it. She wiped her body with her towel and headed back out to her room.
