Green Grass Territory

The four of them walked along, soon entering the Green Grass territory.  Jade ran for the medic tent but she stopped and looked at Gray.

"You wait outside," She said as she walked in to go and Gray caught her wrist, pressing his lips to her cheek before letting her go in.  Jade gagged as she walked in and wiped her face off.

Gray stood by the entrance and would peek in every once in a while to make sure his mate was still in there.  This pissed off an Alpha woman who stormed over.

"Ahem," She said. Gray ignored her, not realizing he was being spoken to. "Stop looking into the medic tent, that's rude," The woman said.

"Oh, sorry," Gray said in a sarcastic voice.  "Look, my mate is trouble and I'm just making sure she doesn't run."

"In this pack, you don't own your mate so you don't need to keep checking on her," The woman said.

"If you have a problem with me, we can fight, one on one, or I could take out a group," Gray said in a cocky way.

Jade heard and walked out the door and said, "Hey! Mister, come sit on a stool in here, you need to be looked over."

Gray looked at her and said, "Coming, Sweetheart."

"Don't call me that," Jade said as she leads him to a stool in the front near where the medicine was made.

Gray said, "I'm the Alpha here, I could call you slut if I wanted and you would not be allowed to argue."

Jade just mimicked him and checked over his body slowly, checking for bugs or bumps.  She sighed, the only thing wrong with him was his rut.  

"Now, back to my territory," Gray demanded after Jade pressed some kind of herbs into his mouth.

"No," Jade said and Gray grabbed her arm. 

"Fine! Fine! Let me go get some things from my house," She said. Gray let go and went to follow her but she bolted into her house and locked the door. He banged on the door.

"GET BACK OUT HERE!" He demanded as she sunk down the door and pulled her knees into her chest. 

"You don't own me, go away!" Jade yelled as her body began to shake, she quickly grabbed her suppressants and took them before her heat could properly start.

Gray gave up after half an hour, he walked back to his territory with tears in his eyes because he was sure his mate wouldn't want to be around him ever.  But he also knew she wouldn't be able to go long without seeing him.

Later that night, Jade packed a bag and headed off to the territory to escape her household and to go to her mate, even if she wanted nothing to do with him.

She traveled slowly through the woods, soon coming upon the territory and she sighed as she passed the threshold she would never go back across.
