"Horizon yo momma fed you?"She asked as they were walking to the park.

"No she didn't"He held his head low.

She looked at him and shook her head taking a deep breathe and holding his hand .

"Come on"She lead him towards the corner store where she usually went.

"Sade wassam". One of the dudes called out to her making her put on a fake smile .

"Hey". She waved.

"Horizon go get what you want and hurry up"

She went to get herself something to drink and some Skittles, before horizon ran back to her bumping into someone in the process.

"I'm sorry". He looked up at the lightskin male.

"That's good lil man."

"I'm so sorry about come on horizon did you say sorry". Safe asked him.

"He did , he yo kid?"

"No , I just watch him ."She gave him a tight lipped smile.

"But sorry again, horizon let's go."She held his hand in hers and turned.

"Aye ma."He called her back.

"Hmm?"

"What yo name is ?"

"Sade."

"Pretty name for a pretty lady."He flirted.

"Yea". She said before walking away so he wouldn't say anything else to her.

Sade didn't have a problem with people flirting but she wasn't interested and she would let that be known that she wasn't. She wasn't even the confrontational type of girl but if it all came down to it she would.

"He smelled". Horizon mumbled making her die of laughter.

"Like what".

"That green stuff". He said proudly, like he knew what he was talking about.

She just simply rolled her eyes at him and continued walking back to her apartment complex and all you heard was yelling and she knew some shit was bout to go down.

Especially where she lived she knew that shit wasn't always sweet and it was almost never that way.

She mentally rolled her eyes knowing she would have to walk through the back it she didn't want to get in the mix of everything.

"Is everything okay". Horizon noticed her stiffness, and she nodded so he wouldn't get worried.

"Pussy ass bitch. Do some bout it then". She heard the harsh yelling and words.

It annoyed and irritated her because it was so uncalled for and they did that every single day of the week, yea she's grown amine to it but it doesn't mean it's not annoying.

*POW POW POW POW*

Horizon froze up but Sade didn't have the time or the patience for him to be freezing up in the middle of a shoot out.

"Horizon bring yo ass". She said through her gritted teeth.

She had heard gun shots before, she lived in the roughest parts of Detroit so she was used to the sound. It's didn't startle her like how it would've startled anyone else.

Or people in general.

She kept walking a fast pace before a group of dudes came running g her way and one of them bumped into her, making her fall onto the ground.
