"Ma'am isn't there a special today where I but 3 and get 3 free". A customer asked.

"No". She said sweetly and the woman nodded and walked off.

She had been working there a good month and she was already tired of it. The disrespectful customers, the annoying managers. She was sick of it.

But she had to keep going since horizon was basically in her care now. Of course not legally but he practically lived with her and sully. And his mama didn't care. She looked at like more of a reliever on her end.

And it was sick.

"Sade you ever gone stop mugging the customers". One of her coworkers asked.

"They stealing. I would say something but I'm gone lose my job fucking with them". Sade rolled her eyes, and turned to look at the girl.

"You be mugging everybody, what's wrong with you".

"I don't wanna be here. I'm sick of this shit like completely. Rose ass is bout annoying as hell. The niggas that come in and out of here being cheap. I'm just done".

Everything that she said made her laugh; her coworker West was probably why she kept coming to work six days out of the week. West was a cool girl, she preferred being called west over her real name.

Which people didn't know how to pronounce.

So she simply went by west.

"You clock out in a little bit don't you".

"Yes". She sighed.

"You got a ride this time".

"Hell no. But imma get home". She shrugged.

She went back to work attending to customers ,just waiting for her time to clock out.

Someone walked through the door making her roll her eyes mentally before putting on a fake smile walking up to them.

"How may I help you?Need any assistance?"She smiled .

The male looked up from his phone and smirked at her and she looked at him with a slight mug before looking at the female he was with.

She had thick thighs and was chubby for the most part, and she was average height. She was pretty, her round face complimented her eyes since they were chinky.

She didn't seem like his type.

"Hi, can you tell me which one of these smell better?"The girl pointed.

"No I can't but I can let you sample them."

She looked back up at the male who gave her a ride but still didn't know his name .

Sade walked to the back and picked up the sample bottles to the one the girl pointed at and walked back towards her spraying it on her wrist so she could sniff it.

"Amma go get another one."she walked from the counter leaving Sade and the boy.

"Fancy seeing you here."he smiled.

"I work here dumbass."She sucked her teeth.

"You got a ride today?"He said trying to be funny.

"Akikiki, yes fuck you."She mugged him
