Outed...

Chapter 11

                    Komaeda's POV

I left the school as the school day had quickly ended. Nanami was hanging out with Sonia today, so I'd have to walk home alone today. Something I was somewhat used to before I met Hinata-Kun. I began over thinking about today. I pondered about what Enoshima was trying to do. She was clearly up to something but I couldn't tell what it was. Maybe she was trying to start up another rumor? I sure hope not.... Even if it's not about me, I wouldn't want her to spread any other rumors. I just couldn't tell though, because of the way she evil-ishly smirked earlier. Soon enough I made it home and changed clothes, then relaxing on my bed. I was scrolling through my phone until I got a text...A text from Hinata-Kun. I opened up the message and read it.

Hinata-Kun: Hey Komaeda

Me: Oh hey Hinata-Kun, what is it? :)

Hinata-Kun: Souda texted me earlier and told me something. I just wanted to see if you could come over so I could talk about it with you :)

Me: Uhm sure... what's it exactly about?

Hinata-Kun: about his bullying towards you

Me: okay, I'll be over soon :)

Hinata-Kun: okay, see you then :))

                              . . .

I got up, a little upset that Hinata-Kun still talks to Souda...even after everything he's done to me.... though I guess I have no right to feel this way. I straightened out my clothes and began heading to Hinata-Kun's house. I eventually made it and knocked on his door. He opened the door and let me in.

  "Thank you for coming Komaeda!"

  "Of course!" I followed Hinata-Kun as he sat in the couch. I sat down as well and prepared myself for this conversation.

  "Okay so. Souda texted me during lunch today and told me about how he felt bad about bullying you and wanted to apologize but wasn't able to because you were understandably avoiding him." He began, clearly trying to start this somewhat awkward conversation.

  "Yeah..." I agreed, going along with the conversation.

  "I'll just show you the texts, this'll make it easier." Hinata-Kun gave up on trying to explain the texts from Souda.

  "Okay..." I agreed as I waited to be shown the texts. Hinata-Kun then took out his phone and showed the the texts between him and Souda. Souda seemed slightly genuine in my eyes. He even mentioned about being worried about Enoshima talking to me, which did make sense considering how he helped me get my phone back from Enoshima today.

  "I know he didn't give the best reasons. And you don't have to but you should, if you want to, stop avoiding Souda. Maybe he'll actually apologize to him then." He suggested, wanting me to give Souda a chance.

  "I'll try it...he did kinda help me today..."

  "Wait he did? How?" Hinata-Kun asked, curious about it.

  "Well Enoshima forcibly sat next to me today and took my phone...Souda saw it and made her give me my phone back..." I explained, trying to make it make as much sense as possible.

  "Oh okay!"

  "And I also guess his bullying has died down a bit since it started." I admitted, thinking back on how Saionji is the main one picking on me now.

  "Well that's good. I hope you and Souda get on good terms!" Hinata-Kun cheered, clearly having high hopes.

  "Yeah...I hope so..."

                   Hinata's POV

  Wednesday, April 19th

I sat in my class, taking notes and overall just finishing the class. It quickly ended and I walked with Komaeda to our next class. We had to turn in our homework from the day before, so I just hoped I didn't get a bad grade on it. Soon enough, the longish school day ended and Komaeda went to speak to Souda, leaving me alone to wait for him. I zoned out, thinking about random things and sometimes Komaeda...I was snapped out of these thoughts when I was tapped on the shoulder by someone. I soon found that someone to be Enoshima, she tried talking to me but I ignored her. I really disliked her. Though it seemed she knew a lot of things, she got my attention by bringing up Komaeda...so I finally listened.

  "It seems you and Komaeda are really close huh?"

  "Yeah what about it?" I was clearly annoyed but I didn't want to show it.

  "Say...how close?..."

I knew exactly what she was trying to pull but I made the grave mistake of blushing and getting protective, making her intrigued...damn it!

  "Me and Komaeda are just friends! Why are you even concerned about that?!"

  "Feisty are we?" Enoshima stated, wanting to get on my nerves.

  "N-No! I just don't want you spreading some crazy rumor..." I defended myself again, another big mistake on my part.

  "Yeah...'okay'"

I looked at her, she seemed pleased with my response. I knew by the look she gave that I'd already messed up. There was no going back, she could easily assume the truth. Despite being popular, Enoshima wasn't like the stereotypical 'popular girl'. She was actually pretty smart... I already knew what she has assumed and I prayed she didn't start a rumor about it. I watched as she walked away, feeling a deep regret. I wish I hadn't talked to her....

I finally saw Komaeda and we walked home together as per usual. I entered my home, quickly changing and sitting on my bed, the stress of Enoshima spreading the truthful rumor of me liking Komaeda got to me and I eventually slept for the rest of the day and night.

I almost didn't finish writing this chapter today but I did eventually. I'm also going to tag UsodayOwO for coming up with a plot idea that I'm now going to use for this story. Thank you :)
