a flash of raven hair mirrored each compartment as a mysterious face walked down the trains corridor. heads turned and eyes widened as few wished to have seen this persons face clearly, a happy smirk was spread across the ravens lips as she pushed open a door and received glares, to which she returned back.

the girl walked confidently past students and down towards the end of the carriage stopping at a seat where two boys and a girl sat awkwardly " well hello there lovelies, if you wouldn't mind, i'd just love to sit down right now. the walk to this hideous train was horrid and you all would be so polite to let me sit, though it wasn't much of a question "

the three stared at the girl in shock and surprise as for the fact this stranger just spoke to them as if they were rags.

" draco do something " the girl said looking at this said draco, making the raven pay her attention to the blonde " ah well i have a feeling we've met before, draco malfoy is it? lovely. i'm valerie gray "

valerie held her hand out but before draco could even respond, she took it back and placed her hand firmly in her pocket " actually, i'd rather not touch your hand, don't exactly know where it's been now do i? "

the same smirk was still set on the ravens lips and a laugh was let out of the dark skinned boy, that she still didn't catch the name of but she couldn't ask because draco had finally decided to speak up " how dare you speak to me like that. who do you think you are? "

the boy stood up and since he was a few inches taller, he looked down slightly and valerie just stood with an amused expression " you know exactly who i am. so if i were you, i wouldn't play a game you won't win "

loud gasps came from several people and they stared at draco waiting for him to respond, instead he took a step to the side with his head down.

he indeed knew exactly who she was, draco had seen her at various death eater meetings and had been told of her supposable arrival, as well as her absence of feelings. the boy was scared to say the most, he'd been worried that valerie would leak information about him being a death eater, just for her own entertainment. wouldn't everyone be afraid of that?

the said girl took a comfortable seat where draco previously sat and moved close to the wall, being in eye length of a brunette with a squished back nose " —who are you? "

valerie tilted her head " ever heard of manners child? and hearing aids? jeez didn't i like just say my name or were you just so distracted by my astonishingly attractive face "

the brunette blushed but kept her scowl " —i'm not into girls so no. "

" aw are you sure about that? god can't i wait till you come out and everyone's like i told you so. anyway what's your name doll? "

without noticing draco was still standing up and frozen in his thoughts causing the other boy to tug his arm lightly and draco immediately sat down realising his state.

" i'm pansy parkinson and this is blaise zabini "

" zabini huh? heard good things about your mother " valerie raised her eyebrows up and down and looked at the zabini boy who looked shocked " note the sarcasm. no offence, well not that i care but i wouldn't be surprised if she'd slept with everyone's dad in slytherin "

blaise's mouth feel ajar and his head lowered slightly and a laugh fell from valeries lips.

" draco? are you okay? how do you two know each other " pansy asked and she generally looked concerned for the pale boy but the last question really meant the most to her.

" i'm fine "

the group fell silent and with valerie still holding a sarcastic and evil smirk on her face the other three were worried as to what this mysterious girl would do.
