[TARDIS]

The trio was in the console room hanging out. Rose was telling the Doctor and Kat about her life. Specifically, what she knows about her father. It was all new to Kat, as they hadn't spoken of it before. Katerina just knew that he died when Rose was little.

"That's what Mum always says. So I was thinking, could we, could we go and see my dad when he was still alive?" She asks, finishing her story.

"Where's this come from, all of a sudden?" The Doctor asks her in surprise.

Rose shrugs frowning. "All right then, if we can't, if it goes against the laws of time or something, then never mind, just leave it."

The Doctor raises an eyebrow at me before replying. I shrug in response. "No, I can do anything. I'm just more worried about you." He replies. I have no idea what has gotten into her. This feels like something will go wrong though.

Rose smiles sadly. "I want to see him."

"Your wish is my command. But be careful what you wish for." The Doctor smiles before running around the console, flying the TARDIS.

The trio ends up attending Rose's parents wedding. Pete had fumbled Jackie's name. Rose thought her dad would've been taller. Rose explained how her dad died as they left the wedding.

"I want to be that someone, so he doesn't die alone." She said. And THAT is how they ended up in a huge mess.

[TARDIS]

"November the 7th?" The Doctor asks Rose to set the date for the TARDIS.

Rose nods. "1987."

The time rotor starts up.

[Waterley Street]

We were walking down the street to where the accident happens, Rose mumbling about how strange it is.

"It's so weird. The day my father died. I thought it'd be all sort of grim and stormy. It's just an ordinary day." She says frowning at the sun.

"The past is another country. 1987's just the Isle of Wight." The Doctor jokes.

Katerina frowns at Rose. "Are you sure about this?"

"Yeah." She nods in determination.

[Jordan Road]

Rose stops just before the street. "This is it. Jordan Road. He was late. He'd been to get a wedding present, a vase. Mum always said, that stupid vase." She explains as a green van comes around the corner. "He got out of his car."

The car pulls onto the curb. "And crossed the road. Oh, God. This is it." Rose gasps.

As Pete gets out of the van, the Doctor and Katerina grabs Rose's hands. A beige car comes round the corner and straight into Pete. The driver shields his face with his arm and keeps going, leaving Pete and the broken vase in the middle of the road. Pete tries to move.

"Go to him, quick." The Doctor encourages her, but she's frozen in shock.

Round the corner, sirens approach and Rose shakes her head in disappointment. "It's too late now. By the time the ambulance got there, he was dead. He can't die on his own. Can I try again?"

After traveling back to when the trio had first arrived, they look round the corner to see themselves by the curbside.

The Doctor sighs. "Right, that's the first us. It's a very bad idea, two sets of us being here at the same time. Just be careful they don't see us. Wait till she runs off and he follows, then go to your dad." He instructs.
