Johanna's pov

She sniffled a few times before taking a deep breath. I say anxiously on the couch and nervously played with my fingers in anticipation for her news.

"Johanna I'm pregnant" she choked out. Instantly, a gasp escaped my lips and tears fell from my eyes.

"Ariella that's fantastic" I whispered and I heard her laugh lightly.

"Oh I'm so excited" I gushed sincerely. "Does Liam know?" I asked tentatively.

"No not yet," she replied. "I was going to tell him the night of MSG but he never called me" she said and wiped a tear away. She then began to explain her worries and her nightmare that night.

She told me how she woke up to find the texts from the boys saying it was simply a busy night, and explained how she was worried Liam wouldn't want to the baby because it would interfere with his career. Eventually, she explained to me she didn't want her baby to be brought up in an unsafe environment if there was still a stalker out there. But most importantly, she didn't want Liam to feel pressured into quitting the band just for the baby.

I took a moment to process this information before replying, "Ariella I don't want you to worry" I started. "If the boys were unsafe then security or Simon would have contacted right away." I spoke, trying to convince myself this was true.

"And honey Liam loves you so much. He's going to be so happy when he finds out he's having a little baby, especially with you." I gushed with a smile. "Darling I see the way he looks at you, it's as if you're the only girl in the world that's right for him. It'll be a little tricky and he may not be home all the time, but you have me and the girls here whenever you need and we're going to support you through it all. We love you" I finished and wiped a tear from my eye.

I heard her sniffle and inhale deeply before responding. "Jo I can't even begin to thank you- for everything. I know I've taken it for granted that you've always been there for me and I really don't know what I would do without you." She relayed her honesty to me.

"Baby it's my pleasure. I know you're mama's looking down saying the same thing, everything will be okay and even though she can't be here physically, she's right there guiding your every move" By now we were both in tears, sniffling like crazy.

"I think I needed to hear that" she chuckled through her tears. I laughed lightly grabbed a tissue from the box on the counter.

"We're both here baby girl, now why don't you come on over. The girls will be home soon and they've been begging to see you" I changed the subject, trying to sound positive.

"I would love too... I'll be over in 15" she said sounding happier than a few seconds.

"Perfect, bye baby"

"Bye Jo" she said as I clicked end.

I smiled to myself at what a strong girl she turned out to be, considering her past.

*flashback*

I ran into the emergency room, my face soaked with tears.

"Go sit over there" I told Ariella and Louis who were also crying.

I ran over to the nurse at the desk

"Hi what do you know about Andrea and Michael O'riley?" I asked through my tears

She pulled out a few paperworks and scanned them over quickly. Her eyes, full of sorrow, met mine, full of tears.

"They were in a three car accident. A drunk driver hit them and an eighteen wheeler swerved to avoid them but tipped onto the O'riley's car. Michael was dead on impact and Andrea is in critical condition. I'm very sorry" she said sadly.
