Chapter 22

Liam's pov

"Guys Ariella is awake!" Louis said out of breath.

"Simon Ariella's up I'll call u back"

"Up? What? Where are you?" He questioned

"The hospital in Hollywood" I said hanging up and sprinting behind Louis.

Louis led me down a long hallway and up a flight of stairs. We tried waiting for the elevator since we were all hurt and Niall had crutches for his leg, but it took too long so we grew impatient and left Harry and zayn to help Niall into the elevator.

We walked quickly passed a few rooms until we reached room 236 where Ariella was. We opened her door and I saw her tiny body laying peacefully on the bed.

She had a few cuts a bruises, but nothing too bad. The hospital sheets were covering her belly down so I didn't see how bad the gash was.

The makeup on her face was smudged around her eyes and she had black tears staining her cheeks from the mascara. She still looked beautiful.

Louis waited outside while I entered. When she heard the doorknob turn, her head lifted and she reverted her attention to me. Her eyes immediately filled with tears and I ran to her bed side.

"Liam" she said and cried into my arms. It was so good to hold her again... It's been too long. She continued to cry so I tired to calm her down

"Hey baby it's okay, I'm here" I cooed in her ear

"L-Liam I'm sorry I was worried and I wasn't thinking and I t-tried to tell you b-but the baby" she put her head in her hands

"Baby you have nothing to be sorry for" I assured her "none of this is your fault". I didn't understand what she was fully trying to tell me but I knew she was just upset and overwhelmed.

"I tried to protect your baby Liam I really did I'm sorry" she said letting the tears fall furiously.

"Ariella babe I'm not mad please stop apologizing this is not your fault" I said letting a few tears slip.

"But my baby's gone" she said barely above a whisper

"The important thing is that your okay and we're all safe. Last time I checked you promised me a long happy life alone with you, and I'm holding you to that" I said lifting her hand with the engagement ring. She looked at it and smiled.

"And we're gonna make more babies" I said with a large smile that made her giggle.

"we're going to be okay" I said as I kissed her forehead.

Just then the door creaked open and in walked a shirtless Louis.

"Louis" Ariella said, her eyes lighting up. He rushed to her side with a huge smile on his face, engaging her in a huge hug, falling back on the bed laughing.

"I missed you" she said getting emotional

"I missed you too babe, how you feeling?"

"Okay, it could be worse" she said with a shrug.

Louis and I just shook our heads and looked at her in amazement.

"What?" She said, her eyes darting back and forth.

"Your so amazing" Louis said simply and she giggled slightly.

"Why?"

"Because you saved us... All of us" I answered

"No I didn't" she said looking down at her stomach sadly. Louis and I both reached out and grabbed her hand at the same time which made her smile.

"If it wasn't for you we wouldn't be sitting here right now. You were the one who cut us out our ropes and brought us a weapon" Louis said laughing "and you saved me when that guy had me cornered" he added. She shuddered at the memory.

"Then that guy... Hurt me... And that's when I saw Liam... And you carried me to the back room" she said slowly "what happened after that?" She asked

"We fought" I said with a shrug

"And won" Louis added with a laugh.

"Now why don't you have a shirt on?" She asked Lou with a giggle "and why is your stomach taped like that??" She asked with concern

"I tied my shirt around you to stop the blood flow" he started and Ari's face softened "and then later I got cut with a blade"

"Lou" she whispered through her tears. She held her arms open and pulled Louis in for a hug "thank you" she whispered and he smiled at her.

"That's not all he did for you" I began and they pulled away. Louis shook his head gesturing for me not to tell her.

"What do you mean?" She asked trying to sit up, but quickly laying back down.

"You lost too much blood and he was the only one with your blood type, so he donated and saved you life" I said looking at Ariella who was looking at Louis who was looking at the floor.

"Louis you didn't have to do that" she choked out

"It's really no big deal" he said turning slightly red.

"Lou you saved my life" she said as tears fell from her eyes. "Thank you" she said as Louis kissed her cheek.

"I guess we are finally blood related now" she said with a light laugh. Louis smiled, but he looked really touched by her comment. A huge grin suddenly broke out across his face.

"Yeah, I guess we are"
