"I'm tired!" Chris says yawing, "I'm going to bed! Good night Rocket," Chris says heading to the bathroom to get his teeth brushed and everything for his hygiene.

"Good night Chris," Rocket replies.

Rocket was upstairs taping the screen and was to look at what was going on in the world.

"You should get some rest," Chris says to Rocket behind from the pilot seat.

"I'll go to bed when I want to," Rocket says with a grumble.

"Okay chill, it's just we have a big day tomorrow," Chris says acting calm.

"Good night Chris," Rocket says again.

"You too."

Chris walks over to his room and puts his pajamas on. Chris did not take his hoodie off though because he really liked his hoodie's and they reminded him of earth.

"I mean everyone has to have a treasure of their own right?" Chris asked himself.

To be honest to himself he did like Rocket to have company on the ship, he found his personality interesting, felt like he was a brother to him, and he's a talking raccoon which is very rare! Chris went onto his bed, pulled the covers over him and fell asleep. BLAM! Chris woke with a jump scare. Chris was confused and looked around his room. No one was in his room?

"Wait was that... Rocket!?" Chris wondered.

Chris was confused but he had to know what that sound was. Chris opened the door and walked across the hallway to Rocket's room. Chris leaned his ear close to the door and heard him scratch things, growls, and then the next thing he was crying. Chris's eyes widened, why was he like this?

"I'm just a freak, a monster," Rocket said with sobs.

Chris had to take action. Chris opened his door and saw Rocket leaning against his work desk sobbing. Chris looked around his room there were scratch marks everywhere on the walls, posters were ripped, and his sheets were part shredded.

"Go away Chris!" Rocket yelled with tears going down his cheeks.

"Hey hey what's wrong buddy?" Chris says approaching his friend, he wrapped his arm around Rocket and got Rocket close to him so he felt comfortable.

"I'm a freaking monster!" Rocket yelled.

"Rocket no no you're not any of those things. I never saw you as a monster," Chris says, trying to comfort his friend.

"But I am, Chris," Rocket put his paws on his eyes.

"No way Rocket you are not a monster, now can you tell me what happened it's okay you can trust me," Chris says smiling.

Rocket looks to him in Chris's blue eyes, those eyes were the definition of a true friend.

"I keep having nightmares every night. The nightmeres are me being experimeted on by those freaking, stupid, scientists," Rocket just sobs even more.

Chris puts his hand on his fur and pets him on the head.

"It's okay Rocket I'm going to make sure those scientists don't hurt you again okay?" Chris says.

"Okay," Rocket replies.

Chris gets up and walks towards his room until he stops at Rocket's door.

"Wait! Chris can I sleep with you in your room?" Rocket asks.

"Sure, come on," Chris says waving his hand for Rocket to come with him.

Chris rests in his bed when Rocket jumps onto the bed, sits, and rests next to Chris. Chris takes his hand, wraps it around Rocket to make him comfortable, then puts the covers over him to leave his head out next to Chris.

"Good night Rocket," Chris says smiling.

"Good night Chris," Rocket replies.

Then the two close their eyes spending the night together.
