Days kept on going by even faster now that Taehyung has something to yearn for, albeit nothing has changed in his favour. It's been two weeks since he was made to sit with Jungkook and they had exchanged only little formalities between them in the name of a conversation. Taehyung isn't someone who gets rather keen on becoming friends with a stranger but keeping in consideration the undying urge that has been sprouting in him to talk to the ravenette ever since he saw him, he now realises that something has actually changed, and alas, that as well isn't in his favour.

Standing awkwardly at the gate of the college, with not a single familiar person in sight, he wonders for which great soul he has been waiting for. Past his last encounter with Daehyun, he has planned on keeping his distance from him because he knows another brush with him would only unfurl a string of corrosive remarks that would lie heavily in his stomach, leaving it's ugly burning indentations there for a long time but he's now compelled to ponder whether that would have been better than standing out a mile, with people either staring at him or totally disregarding his presence and bumping into him by mistake.
He does not pay attention for how long he had been letting his thoughts wander to unwanted places, regaining his focus only when a puff of air blew past him, making him turn his head inattentively and finally acknowledge Jungkook who was coming his way.
Seeing Taehyung standing by the gates, all by himself with a pensive look on his face, made Jungkook feel edgy, his wolf driving him to approach the brunette.
As he moves onward, Jungkook's mind was gyrating around every possible way of initiating a conversation. Just as he was about to open his mouth and utter a 'hey', his movements get halted by Taehyung who takes the lead and speaks first, saving him from the trouble of mulling over his words again and again.
"Hii, I was waiting for you," he says, "to, umm, you know, show you around the college since you're still new here." He adds when Jungkook has the hallmarks of confusion on his face.
They then together walk to the lecture hall allocated for their class in silence, with Taehyung coming to the fore and Jungkook trailing behind him, leaving a little distance between them.
As soon as they made a turn, Taehyung catches sight of Daehyun and just when he was about to turn around, the latter is already calling for him, drawing Jungkook's attention as well.
