((I had to redo this chapter like 4 times sorry it took so long))

Ishimaru felt like all of his bones turned to jelly as he saw who he was looking at. He felt himself tremble as he held back tears. He wanted to smile but he was in so much shock all he could do was stare. Those muscles, the eyeliner, the pompadour, all things he had been missing for close to 10 years.
"M-Mondo..?" Ishimaru mumbled, a small smile forming on his lips.
"TAKA!" Mondo yelled, running over to Ishimaru and scooping him into a hug.
"I- dude! Chill! He hit his head pretty hard," Leon said walking through the doorway.
"Ha, right," Mondo said with a wide smile, setting Ishimaru gently back down on the couch, then kneeling down next to it, "Where in Hell have you been?! What are ya even doin' down here?! I thought ya were all goodie-goodie n' shit!"
"C'mon, that's a pretty rude question to ask someone Mondo!" Leon said, trying to ask Ishimaru from the question that he wouldn't have a truthful answer to.
"Come on, its been 10 years. I ain't allowed to ask my bro a question?" Mondo said, turning his head to Leon.
"Jeez, you can ask him at a better time. Lonaca said he still needs some rest. Plus it's getting late. I'm sure we could all catch up tomorrow on a patrol or something."
"Come on! Bro, at least tell me where you've been?" Mondo said, turning back to Ishimaru.
"I've uh... been... traveling! You know, Hell can get pretty boring if you stay in one place for too long sooo..." Ishimaru said, coming up with a good lie on the spot.
"Welp, that would explain why I haven't seen ya in forever! Where'd ya end up when ya got down here? How'd ya die?!"
"Okay, you two! Mondo you better shut up before Lonaca comes in here and tears off the only parts of your wings you have left," Leon said, "We'll catch up on a patrol tomorrow, kayyy?"
Ishimaru actually managed to get a good look at Mondo's new complexions. He had black skeletal wings, with black ripped webbing in between the bones. There was no way he could fly with that kind of damage. Ishimaru hadn't seen a tail, so there were probably horns hidden in Mondo's pompadour.
"Jeez fucking fine, just know that I'm only backing off cuz I don't need her getting mad at me right now," Mondo said, standing up and walking towards the door, "we'll be back here tomorrow mornin'! Then you bet my ass we're gonna catch up on everything!"
"Language, Mondo, and yes, I highly look forward to it!" Ishimaru said, a large smile plastered onto his face. Mondo waved before leaving the room, Leon closing the door behind them.
Ishimaru felt all bubbly inside. He grabbed a pillow and happy screamed into it, then quickly grabbed his aching head, slightly regretting it. His smile didn't falter, though.
'Mondo! Bro! Here! ITS BEEN SO LONG! We're going to hang out tomorrow... I knew that dream meant something!' Ishimaru's thoughts sang with happiness, 'I wonder how much he has changed though... it doesn't matter! We're bros no matter what! Not even death could do us part!'
Ishimaru slightly blushed at his last though, remembering a term like that is generally for couples. He settled down on the couch, careful not to accidentally stab himself with his tail. He looked at the clock that stood on the TV stand across the couch. It read '1:30 AM'.
'I must get as much rest as healthily possible! I don't want to forget a single second with Mondo tomorrow.'
Ishimaru calmed himself down as much as possible, and amongst all of his excitement, managed to soundly fall asleep.

Ishimaru groggily and slowly awoke to a soft finger poking his shoulder. He yawned and his eyelids slowly opened. A woman with black hair tied into a ponytail, and large maroon eyes with upside down cross marks on her cheeks (I'm aware of what an upside down cross means don't worry lol) stared back at him. She smiled sweetly.
"Lovely, you're awake!" She said, she had a warm cloth towel and bandages with her, "My name is Lonaca, I'm sorry to have woken you up like this, but Mondo requested that I come and wake you up while I tend to your head."
"Oh..." Ishimaru said, yawning and rubbing his eyes, "My name is Kiyotaka Ishimaru, it is a pleasure to meet you."
"Ha, not very often you meet a demon down here with manners like yours," she said, pressing the warm cloth to the back of his head. She took off the cloth and took some of the bandages, wrapping it around his head. She smiled at him, "Alrighty! You're all set to go on patrol with Leon and Mondo, they're waiting outside, so just follow the exit signs. I also left you some clothes on the coffee table here, so feel free to change."
Lonaca stood up, bowed her head in courtesy, and quickly left the room, shutting the door behind her. Ishimaru began to remember the events that happened before he fell asleep. Adrenaline rushed through his body as he threw on the clothing Lonaca left out for him. He swiftly walked towards the exit signs, and made his way outside.
"Bro! Over here!" Mondo called to Ishimaru. Ishimaru walked over happily to where Leon and Mondo were, "We're gonna go down to the junkyard during our patrol, so we can catch up down there."
Ishimaru saw Mondo get on his bike, and Leon getting his black-feathered wings ready to fly.
"Oh um..." Ishimaru mumbled.
"Eh? Something wrong?" Mondo asked.
"I don't... know how to... fly..." Ishimaru said, slightly embarrassed. He didn't know how demon wings worked. They felt totally different from angel wings.
"Ya gotta be kidding me... you have the most perfect wings I've ever seen, and ya don't know how to fly? I mean sure they're a little big but they totally work bro," Mondo said, chuckling, "But it's whatever, ya can ride on the back of my motorcycle."
Ishimaru decided his best choice was with Mondo. He didn't really feel like plummeting from the sky today.
"Okay dudes, you'll probably get there before me so I'll see ya there," Leon said, getting a head start as he took off, flying towards the junkyard, which was hidden by rundown buildings. This was nothing but 100% gang controlled territory, so the streets and buildings were empty.
"Ya getting on? Or are we actually gonna let Leon win?" Mondo teased. Ishimaru heaved a sigh, getting on the back of the motorcycle.
"I'd recommend holding on tightly, I drive pretty fast on empty roads," Mondo chuckled. Ishimaru nodded and held onto Mondo's waist by wrapping his arms around him. Mondo started the motorcycle, and soon they were taking off, and going way faster than Ishimaru had expected. He almost died for the second time as he put a death grip on Mondo's waist. Everything was a blur to him as they drove on. He dug his face into the back of Mondo's jacket, avoiding Mondo's folded wings.
The motorcycle began to slow, but Ishimaru wouldn't dare let go of his grip on Mondo. He was probably giving the poor man lung problems.
"Aight scaredy-cat, we're here," Mondo said, stopping the motorcycle in the junkyard. Ishimaru still didn't let go. Mondo sighed, prying Ishimaru's arms off of him as he got off the motorcycle.
"Haha! Suckers! I beat you!" Leon said, standing on top of a large pile of junk.
"Can it Leon! Or I'll come up there and beat your ass!" Mondo yelled. Leon didn't seem to bothered though, sliding down the large pile and walking over to the two.
"Dude ya good? You look like you've seen a dead person!" Leon teased Ishimaru. Ishimaru sat up and shakily got off the motorcycle, dusting himself off once he regained his balance.

Ishimaru and Mondo were sitting in the corner of the junkyard. Leon had gone off to collect scraps for some weird collection of his.
"So, will ya answer my questions now? Where'd you end up in here, how'd you end up here, and how'd ya die?!"
"I... can only answer one of those truthfully. I guess I ended up here because of a few... acts... I committed while I was alive," Ishimaru was lying through his teeth, which made him very uncomfortable. Lying to his best friend felt so wrong, but he had to keep his mission a secret from even the only best friend he ever had.
"What the hell do ya mean ya can only answer one of those truthfully?"
"I've travelled so much in the past 10 years that I don't remember where I landed when I got here, and my death... was instant. Well, almost instant. I remember feeling the sharpest pain ever on the back of my head, before collapsing on the floor in a puddle of my own tears and blood."
"...I'm sorry I left ya like that. Ya know I didn't have a choice, to live or not. I regret killing Fujisaki every day of my life."
"Ha, it's fine, I forgive you. Besides, we're together now, aren't we? Also, I'm sure Fujisaki would forgive you. He was a very kind and understanding person," Ishimaru said, smiling.
"Yeah, you're right. A lot has happened in Hell, ya know! I'm still Ultimate Biker Gang Leader, and I work for one of the largest gangs in Hell," Mondo exclaimed, "I guess it wouldn't have seemed like it back at base, though. Leon stays there since he was kicked out of Heaven and needed shelter. Pork and Ham are men my boss hired to help find this guy we've been hunting for a while."
     "Your boss?"
"Yeah, my boss. The gangs work like a cave system, there's the mother cave, that leads to multiple other caves. The leader of the mother cave is my boss, and I'm one of his most trusted gang leaders. He's one of the most dangerous guys you'll ever meet," Mondo explained, "and speaking of meet, you'll get to meet him in a week. He requested to see you once we reported you back to the Mother Gang, standard procedure when we take a hostage. I don't know why he has taken interest in ya, though. But... this means ya gotta stay with us until the end of the week, when he comes to see you. He won't hesitate to rip off the rest of my wings if he found out I let a 'hostage' get away."
"Ah... well I... I trust you! Plus I'm willing to meet an all-mighty gang leader if it means you don't get hurt!"
"Damn right! And the last person who lives at base is Lonaca. She's the medic, and my girlfriend."
Ishimaru felt something inside of him break off and turn to dust.
     '...girlfriend?'
