Some time had passed, and you all had finished cleaning the bathroom until it was returned to the pristine, or at least semi-clean state it was in before.  The crimson has all been wiped off the walls and the bloody remains of the room has long since been sponged off the furnishings and flushed down the drains of every functional faucet in the house, leaving a slightly grimed-up bathroom in its wake.  After the six of you had finished with the bathroom, you bumbled through Beverly's apartment, eventually coming down the staircase on the outside of her complex.  You descended the stairwell with heavy steps, the soles of your sullied white Keds clanging against the metal plates beneath you.

The entire group was shrouded by a thick silence, only disrupted by each of your hollow steps as you finally reached the bottom of the staircase.  Richie, however, soon disturbed the quiet, as per usual.

"God, no, I love being your personal doorman, really," he said, irritation evident in his voice.  "Could you idiots have taken any longer?"

"Shut up Richie," you responded, your own voice almost as exasperated as his.

"Yeah, shut up," Stanley backed.

At this point, you had all started walking slowly down the street, bikes clanging against your ankles every so often as you pushed them down the uneven paving.  Richie followed after you all, riding in circles around the dejected group.

"Oh okay, trash the trashmouth, I get it.  Hey, I wasn't the one scrubbing the bathroom floor and imagining her sink went all Eddie's mom's vagina on Halloween," Richie spat, ever the eloquent one.

"She didn't imagine it," Bill cut him off.  The entire group shifted their focus to the boy, and your lips parted ever so slightly as he continued to speak.  "I... I saw something too."

"Bill, you saw blood? Like Beverly?"  You questioned in a slow, serious voice.

"Not blood I- I saw Georgie."  You gasped a bit at his words, casting your gaze off to the side at his proclamation.  "I- It seemed so real I.. I mean it seemed just like him but there was this..."

"The clown," Eddie said, eliciting a small nod of affirmation from Bill, accompanied by a shocked expression on his face.  "Yeah, I saw him too."

"Wait, can only virgins see this stuff?"  Richie butted in.  "Is that why I'm not seeing this shit?"  You shook your head at his words, Stanley rolling his eyes right alongside you as you trudged down the alleyway.

You went on in silence with the group for a bit, one that wasn't tense but wasn't completely comfortable.  Silence was a rare thing in your "club", and although the quiet atmosphere was nice for a change, it was rather eerie.  You looked up, finally adverting your eyes from the ground and taking a glance at the trees and houses surrounding you.  You were nearing the forest, just coming up on the barrens when you noticed a car, its faded periwinkle tint soddened with rust.

"Shit, guys isn't that Belch Huggins' car?"  You said, your shaky voice disrupting the silence.

"We should probably get out of here," Stanley backed, looking towards you with trembling eyes.

"Yeah,"  Eddie finished, nodding to the rest of the group.

You and the other boys began to walk, briskly making your way down the road and away from the bullies.  However, Beverly's voice soon rang out, stopping you all.

"Isn't that the homeschooled kid's bike?"  She said.

"Y-Yeah, that's Mike's," Richie said, looking back to where said bicycle was laying.

"We have to help him," Beverly announced.  You looked at the auburn-headed girl, a bit of disbelief in your eyes.  Sure you wanted to help the kid, but it never ended well for you and the other boys when you challenged the Bowers Gang.  This really was a bad idea waiting to happen, and you just wanted to flee.  You could feel panic rising in your throat as the conversation continued.
