The final showdown

As they sped down the winding country roads toward Yoshi's mom's house. Tom broke the silence on this long drive "John I said a lot but I want to make one thing clear. This last stretch is a test of your detective skills and I thought I should spice it up. I'm sorry didn't mean to do it got carried away but still.... Good lessons." John turns over "What does that even mean." Tom quickly said " I poisoned our blood John I did it while you were sleeping and did it to myself not too long after you woke up. We don't have long and I got the only antidote John but it can be used on one of us I just thought it would spice things up." John goes "OH MY GOD AM I GOING TO FLIPPIN DIE?!?!?!!!" Tom puts one hand up as if to soothe John and says "NO NO no no. Maybe but who knows maybe if you become a great detective you will solve this problem." John with very little words says "....fuck....." and slumps in his chair. In an hour they arrive as they leave the car John breaks the silence. "NOO TOM NO. WE'EVE BEEN DOING THINGS YOUR WAY THIS WHOLE TIME NO NO NO NO. ITS ABOUT TIME YOU TAKE MY LEAD." John grabs Tom and throws him in the backseat. John backs the car up a good distance back and mutters "were doing things my way........" and gasses the car at full speed. Tom is revved up by this and grips the back seat and attempts to get a good view. The car crashes through the small two-floor ranch home. Yoshi is sitting in the rubble with a shocked look on his face. John started to chase after Yoshi in an intense battle where Yoshi was mostly upset and confused. Ending when John corners Yoshi and fires all the bullets in his gun at Yoshi. John is covered in soot dirt and blood. A little bit of everyone's blood mostly Tom's. Tom with great pride gets out of the car and pats John on the back. Tom says "You did good John you are a real detective." Saying this Tom grabs the antidote from his pocket and holds it up to John. John quietly turns it down "I don't need it Tom." Tom smiles and throws the antidote against the wall breaking it saying "You finally got it John." John says "Now what Tom? They are going to want to punish you for this crime Tom how are you going to get out of this??" Tom responds "John you go on your way. You got a great future as a detective and I don't want to put a stop to that at least. But they aren't going to punish me John. Their not going to be able to John and you know why? They can't punish a man if he is already dead. Until next time John." With this Tom collapses on the rubble and John goes on his way. Its been an eventful three months for John Arbuckle the Ace detective and word is he has a new case. Case number four "who killed Liz boyfriend?"
