Just friends
Three days flew by and I havent seen or talked with Zach. It not like I dont see him around, I do, I just cant bring myself to talk to him especially with all those senior girls flocking around him. They make me sick, flocking around my Zach like that. But then most of the time I have to remind myself that Zach and I aren't dating- but we will be soon, after all he likes me.
We were in the cafeteria and it was just like any normal cafeteria, chaos. The popular kids were bullying a freshman and nobody cared to step in. The nerds were making noise with strange equipment that I couldn't place. The boys were throwing paper aeroplanes at girls boobs and laughing, I just found that perverted.
"Hey!" I complained removing the paper from my table, I heard a few boys snicker behind me. "Jo, whats up? You're not even saying anything." Gwen said snapping her fingers in my face. "Crazy child stop that!" I replied slapping her hand away. "Thats mentally hilarious for you." She said faking hurt. Abbie just smiled while Michael started laughing softly. "But seriously Jo, why do you look worried." Abbie said. "Probably just my period." I said casually dismissing the topic. "Excuse me, eating male here." Michael complained. Before we could continue our arguement about how periods were not disgusting and perfectly normal, the rest of our friends showed up with lunch. I heard the boys whistle repeatedly, well I have hot friends anyway.
Mallorie, dark, witty and awesome friend. We bicker a lot, but that doesnt change the friendship status. She's funny and crazy but not as crazy as Gwen.
Trevor, the guy at the party, Mallorie's crush. He's really cool and he seems to get finer everyday. I even liked him before. We've been trying to make her tell him for decades and although she says shes over it; we know shes lying.
Paige, my friend too. Totally atheltic and cheerleader-ish. I sometimes think she should have been born a boy because of her behavior, which is cool by the way.
Beth, she's got really big boobs that feel like cushions when you hug her. But she's amazing, and she's really good at listening. I had a feeling she was the main cause of the whistles the boys were making.
Then there's Jason, my ex, that I broke up with for a particular reason that would not be spoken about. And then, Kyle and Cole, lets just call them classmates.
Jason immediately sat beside Gwen and they started talking with Gwen acting all flirty and sheepish. I made a mental note to ask her about it later. Our table suddenly became lively and I pushed all thoughts about Zach aside.

The rest of my day went by fast. I still had literature and gym. I walked out of the cafeteria with Gwen since we have the same subjects for the whole day.
Literature was funny, mostly because we have unserious boys with a very strict teacher. "So can anyone tell me a little more about our literature text?" The stern woman said writing on the board. "I think the woman is a'slut', going back and forth from her husband to that other guy and giving the guy in her office too!" A guy at the back said. I recognized him from the cafeteria as one of the guys terrorizing girls. "Sure wish the hotties in our school were like that!" His partner-in-crime added and the whole class burst out laughing. The two boys highfived eachother. "Jones, and his friend, detention after school." Mrs. Green said. They just burst out laughing, it was obvious that they knew what they were doing. "Well since our comedians decided to disrupt my class and the rest of you decided to give them an audience, I want a summary of the first five chapters at the end of this class. And it must not be short." She frowned and sat down. The whole class groaned, including me, I was still on chapter 2.
Gym was worse, mostly because im no where near to athletic and we were running. "Come on Jo, move your skinny ass and keep up!" Gwen called already a few feet ahead of me. "I dont think thats encouraging." I whined panting seriously. "This is why you should follow me to the gym on my street." Gwen said trying to be convincing. "No thanks, this is all the exercise I need." And with that I stopped to gasp for air. "Jo, move it, dont be lazy c'mon." Coach said but I just sat down. "Okay then, 30 push-ups for the coach now." He barked. Is today cursed?
