Let me get to know you better

After the concert ended, the women stay for a few more minutes, trying to come down, from the high they had just experienced. They did not even shared a word as the last 150 minutes rewound in their head. If someone was watching them he could see the smiles that came an went on their faces. However what lasted was their happy expression.

The crowd rolled slowly towards the exits and finally Carina and Aurora were moving at the end of it. They stared back several times, as they could not believe that it had all ended. But they took comfort in the knowing that they will eventually see them again this evening.

The friends went back by foot to the hotel and searched the streets for food. They had not eaten since lunch and the dancing and singing made them even more hungry. At some point, Aurora could not deal with the silence anymore and exploded.

"I can't believe that Jungkook came so often to where we were seated. He is so handsome and sweet."

She did not care that she sounded like a teenager with a crush. When she did not get a reply from a friend, she glanced at her and she saw her hugging J-hope's sweater as it was her most precious belonging. She chuckled.

"Sorry, what did you say?" Carina finally came out of her daydream.

"Nothing important. But I wanted to remind you that I was right. The girl behind us was lying. I'm 100% sure of it or why would he give YOU his sweater?" Aurora was still trying to make Carina see that she had not to be insecure in this matter. Also she had noticed how J-Hope looked at her friend and his expression could not tell otherwise.

"I know but..." Auroras phone started to ring at the same time as Carina's. They shared a confused look before picking up their respective calls.

"Hello JK" "Hello J-Hope"

The women glanced at each other and started to laugh out loud.

"Is the way I'm greeting you funny?" Jungkook asked her.

"It is not because you said hello. But your dance leader just called my friend at the same time. That is why I'm laughing."

"Oh, J-Hope also called Carina. He is in the other van that is why I did not notice him calling her. How was your evening?"

"Amazing. And yours?"

"Could not have been better! Dancing, singing and being cheered on by a beautiful woman. What could a man want more?"

Aurora could not hide the blush as she was slowly moving away from Carina. She did not know how to respond to that.

"Hey are you still there?" Jungkook asked her in a worried tone.

"Yes, sorry. You took me by surprise. So you are on your way back now?" Aurora tried to change the topic to get comfortable again.

"Yeah. And where are you? Already at the hotel?"

"No. We are still on our way back by foot. We are also looking for something to eat as we did not have a bite since noon."

"Are you far from the hotel? I could come and walk you back."

"Me too." She could hear V at the back screaming.

"Thank you but there is no need for that. But I hope to see you soon."

"How about you forget about your little snack and just come to see us?" V was now talking to her loud and clear.

There has been some commotion in the back and Aurora was sure that Jungkook was trying to get his phone back again.
