It was late, when Aurora was left alone with Jungkook in his room. The atmosphere was getting heavy. She turned around to wish him a good night, when his two big hand hold her face still and their lips touched for the first time.
The days they spent together had been the best Aurora had in years. Jungkook was caring and sweet. Aurora loved watching him taking pleasure in everyday things like grocery shopping without worrying that he could be spotted and harassed by fans.
Every now and then, he would inform the other members about his well-being still simply notifying them that he was in Europe relaxing, never letting slip where he precisely was. During his stay, Carina also contacted Aurora several times to keep her informed on the progress of her divorce as well as her plan to surprise Hoseok in the US.
Her BFF even showed up at her place one morning, when Jungkook was still sleeping in, after another of their nights full of new experiences. She let him catch as much sleep as he needed knowing how exhausting his life as an idol was. As Carina was sitting in her living room, pouring out her heart to her friend, Mayla stood in front of her bedroom door, pointing at it, chanting „Kookie, Kookie." Aurora blushed and pulled her daughter away explaining to her that the cookies were in the kitchen with a smile. After that, she didn't even listen entirely to her BFF as she was hoping that Jungkook would stay inside her room, hearing the women chat in the living room. When Carina eventually left, a fully clothed JK came out and greeted her with a peck and a smile. „That was a close one. I heard Mayla from the other side and hoped that she could not reach the handle." He confessed with his arms around Aurora giving her another kiss to calm both down.
The last day before he had to leave, was a bit depressing as they both didn't want to part ways. They agreed that it would be best if he left when Mayla was taking her nap. He had already stolen her heart as well and they knew she would cry too much, not understanding why he had to go.
Before departing, Jungkook confessed his feelings to Aurora again and promised that they will see each other soon. „I love you too, my sweet bunny. I know that the life you are living is not ideal for a family but I hope that one day we will able to find a way." They shared one last kiss full of passion and love knowing that it will be some time before they are in each other's arms again. "I see you soon." He told her holding her chin to stare into her sad eyes. "I know. I can not wait for it. Text me when you are in the US." He promised to do that before taking off for the airport.

As promised, he called after arriving at his hotel but waited to be alone in his room. "I already miss you and the little sunshine." He sounded sad and Aurora was feeling the same. "She was looking for you all over the apartment. I told her you had to leave but she did not understand. Now she is waiting at the front door. I think she is hoping that you'll come in any time soon." "Oh, no. Can you put me on video call? I want to talk to her." Aurora did as he asked and grabbed her girl to sit on her lap. As she watched Jungkook chatting with Mayla, she realized that he cared a lot for her and that fact made her fall even more in love with him if that was even possible. After they ended the call, which lasted for over 30 minutes, she brought her daughter to bed, seeing how exhausted she was. However, a smile was on her face. Aurora returned to her room shortly after in expectation of her emotions taking over her. She was recalling the events of the past week. How her feelings had developed and if she could give up on him after all they had shared. She concluded that she could not go back to her life before meeting him. That's when she decided to go all-in in this relationship. No 'maybes' or 'ifs' but only 'I want to' and 'I will'. When she clearly realized that her decision was final, her heart couldn't stop beating fast and the butterflies were dancing a happy song in her belly. Obviously, she needed to talk to Jungkook about it but inside her head, she was already preparing to abandon her existence here and start a life together with him wherever that was.
