Aurora's gaze stopped at Carina's face. She hoped that at least she would be supportive. However, her face only reflected how hurt she was. Aurora mouthed a "Sorry" to her. "Later" Carina replied so only she could see it.

The silence was broken when Jin stood up briskly, almost kicking his stool to the floor in the movement.

"Listen, you little punk. Is that the way we have raised you? Is it? Do you think...."  He started in his angry fast speaking voice. His face was red and his eyes showed the anger that had built inside of him.

Yoongi smacked Jin on the head as Mayla began to cry in Aurora's arms. She buried her little face into her mother's figure.
"Yah, Jin-hyung, you made the little girl cry. She is completely in fear."
Yoongi was already coming her way. He fetched her and told the couple in front of him that he will take her to the living room to play with her while the rest of them were trying to discuss this out.

"Thank you. Call me if she doesn't calm down."  Aurora instructed him. She was glad that Mayla had not to witness the bitterness the others showed towards them. As soon as the rapper with the little girl was out of sight, Namjoon implored them both to take a seat.

Jin seemed to had calmed down a bit even if his eyes still showed how mad he was. She could sense Jungkook's nervousness through his hand that was intertwined with hers.

"I have to say that your action yesterday and today shocked me but I wasn't surprised at the same time. I already knew that you spent some time together during the last months."  Namjoon notified the maknae.

"You did?"  Jin's irritation was now directed at the leader.

"Okay, can we all calm down?"  Taehyung solicited the people around the table.

"You said you were dating for some time now. What does that mean?"  Jimin was the next one to inquire them.

"We started talking on the phone right after we met in Berlin. Then we met again and we discovered that we both had developed strong feelings for one another." Jungkook explained with a shaky voice.

"That was not the question?"  Hobi asked, his voice seemed calmer but Aurora knew that a serious Hobi was a scary Hobi.

"I would say that we are a couple since we came to see you in New York for your birthday," Aurora clarified, hoping to show them that it was not only a fling or adventure.

Again Aurora was looking at Carina. The hurt was even more prominent now. She knew that the time in New York had been a hard one for her.

"That long."  Jin's raised his voice again.  "And why the hell did you two keep a secret from us?"

"We wanted to be absolutely sure that what we felt was real. So we took our time to get to know each other better. It's not that we wanted to keep it a secret from you all this time. We had plans to tell you." Jungkook's voice was apologetic as he squeezed Aurora's hand that now rested on his thigh.

"And when did you wanted to fill us in?" Jin reminded Aurora of a mum that was disappointed by her kid and was now coming to terms with the fact that she could not change a thing.

"We had scheduled it for next month. We wanted to tell you over diner following your next promotion and after talking to the company. However as Hoseok and Carina were exposed, we thought that we could tell Army all together." This time Aurora answered so they would see that they were both in this together.

Namjoon was the calmest and most friendly-looking out of all of them. He reached over the table to give both some reassurance by squeezing their hands.
"First of all, no one here is against your relationship. When I found out about your little meetups, I watched our youngest closely. I saw him change. He matured, is less competitive, and takes more responsibilities upon him." His eyes never left their faces and Aurora was somehow relieved that at least one of them was on their side.
