Chapter Thirteen -The LAST Chapter-

    I am in my own room. My hands shake as I head toward the shower. I am suppose to be dead. Caleb told me everything that happened. He told me about the serum not working. I am relieved about that. I quickly take a shower. The water is cold. I get out of the bathroom to find some clothes for me. It is a long sleeved black shirt with tight pants. The shirt is big on me so it shows one of my shoulders. I decide to show my shoulder that shows my Dauntless tattoo. I keep my hair down. It goes to my elbows. I push my hair to one side. I look at myself in the mirror. For the first time I saw in a long time, I see me. I know now that I don’t want to die. I want to live and live a long, healthy, happy life. I find some things from Kailey and Karley-eyeliner and lip gloss. I slowly put the eyeliner and lip gloss on while trying to stop my shaking hands from messing me up.

    I walk down the hallway toward the cafeteria. I am starving. I walk into the smell of french toast and bacon. I close my eyes. My stomach rumbles. I open my eyes. I see Kailey waving her hand at me. She sits where we usually do. I smile at her. I quickly get breakfast and sit down. I am uncomfortable because people keep eyeing me. They all think I am suppose to be dead. When I sit down,everyone at the table looks at me. “You seem...in a good mood.” Trance says. I nod and start to eat. “Are you sure you are okay?” Karley asks. I roll my eyes. “Am I dead right now? No.” I say. The sound of that shocks me. I fell asleep thinking I was dead. Two days later I wake up not knowing what is going on. I am really not okay. Before anyone can give me a response to what I said, Caleb sits down next to me. Ever since I was suppose to be dead, he been staying closer to me. I take a deep breathe. “I’m just glad all of this is over.” I say. They all nod. We eat in silence. All of a sudden the ground rumbles. I sigh. “We will never have peace will we.” I say. They shake their heads. I take out a gun. I see people running toward us. Two of them are John and Erin. “You got to be kidding me.” Caleb says. I raise my gun up and point is at the two of them. I shoot Erin in the chest and John in the arm. That is when the gunshots go off.
