y/n's pov
a month flew by, and in two days it'd be the first day of my last year at hogwarts.
i'd stayed at the malfoy manor. narcissa was extremely kind, and so was lucius. well, not extremely kind. he almost locked me up in the cellar for knocking over a vase..
but that's besides the point. for 7th years, dumbledore lets us wear whatever we want for the first two days, (let's pretend LOL) so draco and i were headed to diagon alley to look for a clothing shop.

dracos pov
i woke up from the tussled sheets y/n and i had slept in. i glanced over at her, still fast asleep.
god, she was gorgeous.
i tucked a few loose strands of her soft hair behind her ear, and planted a kiss on her forehead. i stayed like that for a while.
this was my girl. my dream girl.
finally, when i pulled away, i saw her wide, beautiful eyes open, grinning a cheesy smile.
we both laughed.
"good morning, love." i said after settling down.
"morning.." she said, yawning.
i slipped out of bed and drowsily walked to the bathroom.

[later that day]
"what are you gonna pick out?" draco asked, rummaging through a rack of boring clothes.
me, on the other side of the store, looking through the nice clothes i laughed, "something good! unlike you!"
"oh shush. you're mad because i have style." he flaunted.
"don't get too ahead of yourself, mr. malfoy." i smirked.
"okay, mrs. malfoy-" he spoke.
slowly, we both turned to eachother in shock.
as if it were rehearsed, we both burst into laughter. "mrs-malfoy-ay?" i asked, suffering through giggles.
"i didnt- you know i didn't mean that-!" he said, suddenly turning red. i winked at him, causing his face to flush an even darker red.
as i was searching through the clothes, a satin, deep green halter top caught my eye. it was gorgeous. the neck line was bedazzled with small, sparkling emeralds.
"oh my.." is spoke, "draco look at this! it's absolutely enchanting."
he turned to me and headed over to my rack.
"bloody hell! it'd look amazing on you.." he whispered. i felt the heat rising to my cheeks and turned away. yes, this was amazing, but i'm sure it'd be too expensive.
i picked up the tag and searched for the price.
"15 galleons?!" i exclaimed out loud. oops.
i looked up with wide eyes, to see draco grinning at me.
"think it's funny, aye?" i joked.
he chuckled, "of course not, darling," his captivating words sent shivers down my spine, "i promised you i'd pay for you, remember?" he asked.
"yes..but no way am i letting you buy me something for 15 galleons!" i exclaimed, "i am not worth that much!"
there was a silence.
"you're right," he finally said.
"what?" i whispered.
"you're not worth that much." he stated, "you're worth more. more than the world could ever have." he spoke softly.
his words were warm, soothing my soul.
"now, we both know that's a lie." i finally said, putting the shirt back on the rack.
before i could place it back, draco snatched it from my hands and swiftly ran to the cashier.
his strides were wide and fast, causing me to be following far behind. i finally got to the counter, only to see draco standing there smirking.
"oh no." i groaned, "you bought it, didn't you?"
"yup." he said, popping the 'p.' "and i'm sure you'll look absolutely stunning in it."
i blushed. i wanted this moment to last forever, just me and him.
a cold hand met my soft cheek, bursting my thoughts. another was placed on my other cheek. his touch sent electricity throughout my body. i've craved his touch since the last time i saw him.
"come on, let's head to another store." he spoke.
i nodded and followed him out of the store.
