The very first thing your soulmate lost and you received was a Rock Lee, Naruto figure. Later you realize that they lose things all the time.
By the time you were in your last year of middle school you'd found so many of your soulmates belongings they'd taken up a total of 7 totes under your bed. You often thought they'd loose stuff on purpose, just to have you return them.
Off the top of your head you could thing that they'd lost about 10 pairs of socks, three pairs of boy shorts (which lead you to believe your soulmate was in fact male), a Rock Lee t-shirt (along with that action figure), and several plushies.
You'd always found it adorable that out of all the Naruto characters his 'assumed' favorite was Rock Lee, and even more adorable that he was in fact your favorite as well.
You'd never really given much thought to finding your soulmate until your best friend bought you along to return the lost jersey to Tsutomu Goshiki. Seeing how happy she was made you long for your person.
It also never came to your mind how to find this mysterious person, until you found an old worn out volleyball with the faded initials t.s.
