Uncoordinatedly your roll over in your bed and knock you alarm clock off your bed side table in attempt to stop the dreaded ringing.

You honestly didn't want to get out of bed, school was a pain here recently.
Your only other friend had met their soulmate, so your two best friends were preoccupied at school, which left you alone.

A month and a half ago you'd started your first year at shiratorizawa. It was an amazing school and offered a fantastic art program- which is why you'd decided to attend.

"y/n/n get up." Your older brother came in and tossed a pillow at your head, the two of you weren't very far in age. Just a year.

He attends karasuno, he's a second year there. While attending different schools, he's still intent on walking you to school everyday, claiming it's 'what good big bros do.'

"Okay okay!" you squeal as he starts hitting you with pillow he'd just thrown at you, "I'm up!"

He howled in laughter when you sat up with a wild head of hair, it wasn't uncommon for you to sleep rough and wake up with a rats nest.

"Yea yea, so funny. leave me alone so i can get ready Yu." you groaned and stepped out of bed, but immediately fell back when he shut the door behind him.

Nishinoya Yu was your half brother, sharing the same mother- hence why you two didn't share the same last name. your mother had remarried and had you a year after Noya.

You jumped up immediately when your door swung open again, "Don't worry, i won't tell Yu, but you should get up and get ready in case he pays you a visit again." your grams said and walked out with a light hearted laugh.

After getting dressed you met your family downstairs for breakfast, "mom have you seen my frog ring?" you asked as you checked your bag and ran down the stairs.

"No, sorry, I haven't." she said and rested her hand on her swollen tummy.
She was currently 7 months pregnant with you younger brother, yet another male to add to the house.

You groaned and sat by noya, "I really liked that ring." you said and ate a piece of apple.

Noya laughed and took a big bite of bacon, "Find mr. t.s. and you'll get it back." He said downing his orange juice.

Soon after breakfast You and Noya had said bye to everyone and left for school.

"Maybe he's on the volleyball team!" he did a eyebrows wiggle and bounced ahead of you, you envied his energy.

"Maybe," you said and tightened you backpack. "I'm gonna stop and get another frog ring on my way home." you informed your brother.

After a few light hearted conversation topics it was time you two split ways to school.

"Have a good day Yu." you smiled at your brother, "have a fantastic day!" he one upped you while you did you handshake and went separate ways.

As much as you wanted to find your soulmate it made you scared, what if you weren't what he wanted? It's rare for soulmates to reject their bonds but it's not unheard of.
