"Today we will see if anyone else can beat me in fighting." Dare says. He looks around the room. He eyes move to mine. Both of us look away. I wish this weirdness would go away. "Who ever won yesterday will just watch." All I get to do is sit around and do nothing. I should win stuff like this more often.
Jack and Dare fight first. Jack wins. He comes to sit by me. I move to the other side of the bench and he sits on the other. Pride and Dare fight next. Dare wins. I close my eyes. I can't watch anymore.
After when everyone is done, I look at the board. Trance won as well as Minzie. I groan. I get up to leave. Before I do, Dare locks eyes with mine. He stares at me and I stare at him. I make myself look away.
"Before anyone leaves, I need to say that we have no training tomorrow. So people could train if they would like." He nods. I push the doors open. No training tomorrow. Isn't that what happened today for me? I shrug.
