Chapter Thirteen

Dare

It starts to rain. We go inside in silent. I can’t believe they threatened to kill Lynne. I swear once I find them, I will kill them. Once i am inside, I look around for Lynne. I can’t find her anywhere. I find a girl about a year older than Lynne. “Excuse me. Have you seen Lynne?” I ask her. She nods. “I saw her run outside. She looked angry but sad at the same time. Did you do something to her?” She asks. She looks angry. I shake my head. “But someone not in this group did.” I say. “Thank you.” I say. She nods and smiles at me. “You are cute. You know that?” I roll my eyes. “I have a girl.” I say. She frowns then turns around to talk to her friends. Is that true? Do I actually have a girl? I hope Lynne is my girl. Even though we kissed, that doesn’t mean we are. Plus she seems interested in that Trance dude. I don’t see why though. he seems like a jerk at some points.

    I rush outside. I start to get soaked. I run around Ethical yelling Lynne’s name. I turn right onto a street. I see someone sitting there crying.
