The Essence of Being: A stone that is shaped but not moved by the crashing waves. Mighty, powerful waves that come relentlessly. They seem oh so intimidating.
The stone is not moved through its surroundings. Nobody may ever see it. It is not there for anyone to see. It is there. But why?
Why do we exist? What is there, inside of us that allows us to make decisions, completely independent of our surroundings.
It doesn't matter if anyone else will ever see. It doesn't matter what judgment they make. It doesn't matter, it doesn't change you. Not at your core. There is so much more to you. There is resilience. There is the Essence of Being.
