Guild Mark

Exendo's POV

We barely made it out on time thanks to Natsu. We're on the train to Magnolia and it's about 6 in the morning, we shoukd arrive in an hour. I can't believe these guys want me to join their guild. I did protest but...Erza knocked me out and well..here I am. On the train...to Magnolia, to Fairy Tail.

Lucy is sitting next to me staring out the window. I insisted for her to sit with Natsu. I get the feeling he is jealous or something...he kept staring at me and I still feel his eyes on me even now.

I shiver.

I haven't had the chance to tell what Natsu is thinking. You see, my mind reading only works when I stare into the other's eyes. All I could get to read was that he was relieved that Lucy wouldn't die.

I turn back to see how the rest are doing, it seems like all the dragon slayers are sick except for Wendy. All if them are asleep now. I don't get why they were sick earlier though.

As if Lucy knew what I was thinking, she explains.

"They are motion sick. All dragon slayers are. It some sort of thing they got." Lucy whipers as she shrugs.

I nod in understanding.

"You and Natsu alright?" I ask. I'm still curious about what they fought about. Plus, I'm planning on talking to him to clear things out. I don't want to die yet.

Lucy sighs.

"I've been going on solo missions." She said.

"Ok..and?" I ask.

"I always come back with serious injuries and its made Natsu worry. A few days ago, I chose this job but Natsu confront me."

"Oh.."

"Yeah, but I was just so furious about what he did. He left for a year, Exendo. A YEAR! with nothing but a note. Prior to that, I had to sacrifice Aquarius during the Tartaros War, after all that mess, he left for a year to train. The guild disbanded and I was all alone. Everyone had taken their separate ways. My dad died a few weeks later. I took a job in Sorcerer Weekly because I've always wanted to work there...though I also got it so I could track down everyone. So I could know where Natsu went."

Lucy had begun to cry silently. I just placed a hand on her shoulder. I don't do well with these kinds of things. Like what am I supposed to do yo comfort someone??

"Natsu then told me I didn't know what suffering meant."

"Really?"

"Yeah but he's right.."

"Excuse me?? But you suffered a lot!"

"He lost his father, his dragon. He spent his whole life looking for him. Every time someone mentioned a dragon he would get up and drag me there with him to look for Igneel. He'd be disappointed every time. Turn out, igneel was just inside him, but Natsu couldn't talk to him, he died before he could."

"But hey! You can work things out still! Wanna know what I think?"

"What?"

"I think Natsu loves you. And I think YOU love him!" I say, wiggling my eyebrows.

"Sh-Shut up..he doesn't. "

"AHA! You didn't deny that you love him!"

Lucy blushed and looked away.

"You should tell him how you feel."

"Look! We're here! Come on! Let's make you a Fairy Tail member!"
