Third Person POV

Natsu catched up with Lucy. The sudden change of heart from Exendo still lingering in his mind.

"Lucy! Hey wait up!" Natsu said, giving her his signature grin.

Lucy didn't bother to turn around. She just sighed. She wasn't exactly mad still. She was just hurt by his words. Although she still thought about her partner's words towards her, she also thought about Exendo. She remembered parts and pieces. Her mother would sometimes leave for a few days not telling young Lucy where she would go off to. She remembered when she met Exendo now. That night...

Lucy nodded and went back to her room. She summoned Aquarius from a fish bowl only to get scold by her.

"SUMMON ME FROM A FISH TANK AND I WI- why are you crying again??"

"B-Because...I just wanted to play! I didn't mean to get you mad.."

After a while of Aquarius reluctantly playing with young Lucy, she went back to the celestial world. Lucy patiently waiting for her mother's return but got bored and went outside.

She played with one of her dolls beside some flowers. She sighed as she was still bored, then she heard a some stirring in a bush located behind her.

She jumped up with an 'eek' and pointed Aquarius's key towards the bush as defence.

"W-Who's there??"

"Luce!" Natsu called out.

"Couldn't you if stayed back? They need help." Lucy replied, still not look back as she was opening the door to the room she was instructed to enter.

Lucy began searching for the syringe as did Natsu who gained a sigh from Lucy.

"Listen Lucy..I-"

"It's fine, Natsu."

"No it's not. Lucy, what I said then..I-I..it was out of anger. I didn't want you going on solos anymore. I was and am afraid that you'll get hurt or die.." Natsu said, whispering the last words.

"I'm not weak." Lucy said, annoyed for having to repeat herself once again.

"I'm not saying you're weak I'm just saying I'm worried." Natsu said, his eyes narrowed and his hands speaking along with him.

"Why worried. You got more important stuff to worry about than me." Lucy said, still looking for the syringe.

"Yeah that's right...you and Exendo for example.." Natsu mumbled under his breath. He made sure Lucy didn't hear him but he failed.
