White Beast
My adrenaline keeps me excitedly. Eventhough I didn't know what to do after I reached my destination, I still feel great things is still ahead of me.
Soon the temperature dropped lowly yet the heavy cloaked protected me from the cold and aside from that the heat on my body keeps me warm.
The fireflies then slowly lessened until none of them are in the way. The woods become dark again and even the moonlight hasn't any effect at this part of the wood.
My gut keeps on telling me I am already near. I stopped in front of the darkness.
I can hear my own heartbeat. I am getting nervous. Slowly I started to walk again.
"I think I have a solution"
My face brighten up as I hear it say those words. A solution for death traps? Those things exists?!
"But this time I cannot interfere. It all depends to you"
"To me?" I stared at the light wildly.
"Yes, kilometers away from here in the north a high spirit is bounded. And with the help of that spirit you can be free from death traps"
I listened carefully at it's words. I'll be free from death traps. Once I'm free from it I cannot worry any death in my way aside from my original death. But. . .
I balled my fist and trampled the silk blanket covering the bottom half of my body. . . The question is can I do that? Can I persuade that high spirit to help me?
"How can I find it" I asked still filled with doubt.
"North"
"North" I Repeated still waiting for it to continue.
"Yes, North just go up to North and never stop walking until you reach the Islan Forest. This forest is a forest that can be found inside the Northern forest. But it would take you days to reach that"
"Days? Then should I prepare for that journey then. I should send message back to Luha to lengthen--"
"Don't fret. I have a solution for that. There's no need for preparation. I can make it faster for you. Days that you need to travel will be shorten to hours"
Hours?! That's impossible--oh wait. That's possible. This high spirit reverse time for me. Shortening time is even possible to it.
"But wouldn't it affect the entirety of time? They would discover that I'm gone for days right?" The light laughed so loud. But the environment is still calm as if it's laugh can't be heard. Or maybe, it's voice is only heard in my head.
"Silly girl. I can control everyone's time without affecting the entirety. Your time could be fasten but everyone around you will still be the same. So don't worry about that"
I was dumbfounded with what I heard. A time controlling spirit? I never heard about that before. The light went next to me and emit a large amount of light. I was blinded for a second but after that a heavy cloak laid on the bed.
"Just remember this. North."
"Just go North. Never ever change your direction. Once you see and reached the Islan forest beware. There's wild beast around especially at night. There's two lagoon inside that forest. After you see the first lagoon you can now rest. And after that you will eventually travel again to find the second lagoon"
"That's where the high spirit resides"
"And be always careful. Beasts that roams there are dangerous and powerful. If you see one just ignore it. It won't be hostile if you ignore it. They can smell greed"
Just keep walking North. I reminded myself. I am almost there. I already passed the first lagoon.
The walk feels like almost an hour and the darkness was lifted. The light from the moon was brighter than before. But still the surrounding is still quiet and eerie. I had seen beasts earlier and just like the light said, it won't attack you if you ignored it. But remembering the encounter earlier, I almost fainted after seeing three headed snake that hangs over the branch of the tree. Or the four eyed wild cat that is laying on the top of a bog rock.
But after just few minutes. I came to a stop. Because in front of me a small rabbit was caught in a trap. It's foot is bleeding as an iron clamp attached to it.
Sh-hould I help it? I bit my lips as I keep on thinking.
It's not a beast! It's a poor animal who was caught on a hunter's trap. Without any more hold backs, I went and crouched down at the poor rabbit. It becomes alert as I went near. It started moving trying to get out of the trap.
"Calm down, I'm here to help you" As if it would understand me but it suddenly stopped moving. It's head keeps moving at my direction.
My hand slowly reaches the trap and it's body. The moment I touched it's body, I immediately wanted to hug it. It's fur is too soft and fluffy. I smiled at those thoughts.
It took me two moments before I finally set it free but to my heart break it's foot is bleeding. The blood almost cover it's right hind leg. I carried it and looked for a nearby bush.
"Just a minute" It wiggled in my embraced as I stand up but eventually stopped after I crouched back again near a tree. With my left hand I pulled a small vial filled with red liquid. It was given earlier by the light and said that with this I can heal any cut or wounds immediately.
The blessing in the ring earlier was replaced with another that will help me see the high spirit.
I pour a drop in it's wound. A glowing light immediately imited on the rabbit's foot. A drop would be enough to heal this poor creature.
Once the wounds are closed. I stood up. "Well, I should go now. There's a lot of dangerous beast around so be careful little rabbit" It moved its whiskers before turning and hopping around.
"Poor rabbit. I hope it will not be a prey from the other beast"

The woman immediately stopped and Death saw the change.
"Is something wrong Era?"The woman frowned before answering.
"She's walking too close to a beast. . ." She paused for a second. "Too close I can feel it. As if it passed into her for a moment"
"Do you think she'll be caught into another Death traps before she reached that spirit?"
"Tell me, does her card appear in your hand?"
Death shook his head. "So far, she's still live for an hour and rest is still unknown"
The woman nodded. Her golden eyes flickers. "An hour is enough but the rest is unknown because her fate will depend on her and that spirit"

The hooded girl is already gone. The white rabbit came out from the bushes, slowly it's fur emits a low light before shifting into a white winged cat. It's tail and feet are in gold.
It flew up and follow the direction the girl went. Unbeknownst to her, she just helped a faerite. A shapeshifting beast where it's core is pure fairy magic. One of the rare beast humans encounter and unknowingly, Izavella already made a pact with it. A white beast of Islan Forest.
