Into the Woods

     I woke up inside grandmother's house. It was already late at night and I am in bed. I tried to move but felt a pain in my stomach. I clutched at it and remembered everything.

     "What an idiot"

     "Befriending death too much?"

     I almost fell after hearing those voice. The golden light floats next to my window.

     "But well, I can't say it's your fault too. Since I have meddle in your death, there would exist death traps in your new life"

      I frowned. "Death traps?"

      "Yes, Death traps.You should be dead right, but since I changed that it unbalanced some core pillars of Life and death. In results, all collected souls before your death was released back."

       "Meddling with time has consequences and death traps is one of them. It exists to anyone who returned back from dead. And the weaker the body, the nearer you die early" The light floats towards me

        "Avoiding Death traps. . . Hmm. . ." It floats back towards the window. My mind is still processing everything. If I don't become too careful, my life can be easily gone even if my fateful death was still away. I bit my lips with this thought. No...

     "You knew your life is just borrowed but still you went into a deadly place. So what's the reason why did you ran towards the alley?"

     I bite my lips before answering. "The ring you gave me was stolen by those thieves" my voice was too low. I can feel my face burning because of embarrassment.

    "You shouldn't have done that"

    "But isn't the ring valuable?" I asked curiously.

     "That ring is priceless anyway. It will be an ordinary ring without my blessings. I could have given you another one" I felt silent. I didn't know that because I thought it was valuable.

     "Fine. That part may have been my fault but next time be careful. If you fall to Death's another trap. I might have a big problem" the light said seriously. I felt myself tensed. I don't want to fall into another death trap. I am not still done yet with my life.

      "Here"

     I was snapped out of my imaginations when a cold thing was thrown directly into my forehead.

      "Ouch" I looked down and saw another ring. I grabbed it immediately.

     "Wore that"

     I followed her command and wore it. But after I wore it I felt a refreshing breeze unto my stomach, and slowly the pain subsided. I tried to poke the wound but I felt no pain.

    "Now you are healed this is what you have to do"

     It was middle of the night and I was alone in the woods. To answer the question why I am here is because I needed to catch 'something' which she told me will help me avoid Death's traps.
