Return Of The Dead Duchess

        Earlier that morning, I woke up being refreshed. Snow cuddled next to me in a form of a white cat while Kara, I looked at the jade dragon coiled around my wrist. After last night, once the Kara break free from the chain he transformed into a small dragon even smaller than a house lizard and coiled around my wrist. I am too relieved to know that I will no longer worry about death traps, and as a bonus, I gained a familiar which is Snow. According to the light, told me last night, Snow is a no form faerite. It means that it actually doesn't have a real form but born with an egg like light. They can transform into different forms.

     Another great ability of Snow is that it can absorb the magic energy around and transmit it to me, her master. I think that's the reason why I had broke the water chains. Snow absorbed the magic energy from the chains making the chains weaker and my power became stronger.

   "Sister! Sister!"

    Irinna excitedly barged into my room.

    "Are you okay sister? Does your wound hurts? Does that mean we can no longer go outside? Sister?"

    I laughed seeing her. She keeps on asking and asking while she climbed the bed.

    "Yes I am fine"

     I hugged Irinna as I answered her but I noticed something. Her eyes immediately fell towards Snow who was still sleeping soundly in my lap. And without warning, Irinna shrieked.

     "A Cat!!!"

     Without any hesitation, she grabbed the sleeping beast carelessly. My heart skipped a beat and I was stunned. I was speechless as panic rise inside me. I immediately wanted to scold her not to be careless around Snow especially Snow isn't really a cat but a beast.

    "It's white and fluffy! And very soft too!"

    But by the looks of it, snow didn't mind. I almost cried but in the end laughed at the scene in front of me. Irinna started cradling Snow like a baby while slowly swaying it back and forth.

    What a view! But I can't blame Irinna for this. Since she's just a child and inside our home we haven't really had any pets. My hand petted Irinna's head.

    But soon more faces appeared.

    "Sister what happened?! Why did Irinna screamed?"

    "Are you still hurt?"

     Ivanna asked while eyeing my stomach area. Ivanna, Izriel  and both our grandparents came with few maids tailing them. You can see the worry in their face. Now I felt really guilty as I looked at them. If I haven't ran following those thieves I wouldn't be in this state. But then if I haven't did it, I wouldn't have a chance to meet Snow and Kara.

    Thinking about it, what happened last night seems to be long ago. That travelling felt eternity before but now I can't believe it that it already ended.

   " Don't worry, I am already fine. Go and prepare for today, I'll just see you at breakfast"

   I smiled at them and ensured them that I am really fine. They all left after but  a doctor was left to check my wounds but then astounded once she saw that my wound is already gone and I am already fully healed.  And when it comes to that little devil, Irinna ran out in my room carrying Snow.

  "Irinna! Get that cat back here!"

  "Noooo!!"

   I face palmed after knowing that Irinna is troubling herself with that beast. Only I can hope is that Snow wouldn't mind at all.
