"Can someone bring Vera here?!" The Superior's voice rumbles as he ruffles his gold, curly locks frustratedly.

"Call Vera, this instant!" The right-hand named Jin Goo tells his assistant who immediately obeys and rushes towards the telephone area.

"U-uh, Ms. Vera? The Superior wants you here."

Vera raises a brow and shrugs, "Right here." She says and appears right beside Jiwon, the assistant, with the phone in her hand.

"Vera!" She immediately went towards the Superior who's wearing an unamused expression.

"Yes, Superior." Vera answers with a flat tone as she fixes her black coat.

The Superior frowns at her, "I told you to use the door and to not just appear out of nowhere!"

"Superior, what's the point of being supernatural if I won't use it?"

He just sighs with how stubborn she is, "We've got a new Specter. Don't let them interact with the mortals or be seen," The Superior sighs "And know your limits."

Vera groans, "Why me? I just finished my task yesterday, and I already knew those! I've been doing this for so long."

"Just go and do your job properly." Rolling her eyes at the right-hand, she turns around and was about to teleport but the Superior's voice rumbles in the hall.

"That's a waste of energy, Vera!"

"Just go! You're wasting time!" Vera pouted, turned around, and began to walk towards the huge white double doors but as she goes nearer, white smoke began to encircle around her legs.

"Vera!"

The guardian just chuckled until the white smoke fully swallowed her and when it faded, she appeared in front of a house.

Leaning against the tree beside her and heightening her senses, she scans the area to see if there was a specter around. A smirk crept onto her lips when she found a certain spirit that attracted her senses.

Vera raised a brow at the specter running out from a house, he's tall and she won't deny how good-looking he is despite having a fog-like appearance at the moment after becoming a ghost-as what the mortals refer to them.

White smoke appeared under her feet, raising her in the air, she began to make her way after the spirit to follow him.

Vera's eyes glows as she uses her power, the specter went invisible from the living's eyes as he run along the dark alley.

When Vera had enough of his running, she flew faster and matched the guy's pace, "You should stop."

The spirit's eyes widened and almost tripped but the guardian was able to catch him by just opening her hand and made him turn around, his soulless back facing the ground.

"W-who are you?" The guy asked, still on the ground and looking up to her.

The guardian smirked and leaned towards him, their faces dangerously close to each other, "I'm your guardian, Specter."

They said we have our guardian angels...

If we die, do they die as well? Are they born when we're born? Do they look like us?

These questions were lingering in Hoseok's mind as he took a sip on his cup of coffee while staring through the window which faces the bright moon, lines of moonlight hitting his face as it seeps through the window blinds.

Hoseok frowned when his surroundings darkened, the glass he was holding fell on the ground and shattered, his mouth was covered causing for his screams to come out muffled, and all he felt was numbness after.

He felt so relieved when the lights went back, he stood up but the door suddenly went open. There, he saw his friends wearing horrified expressions.

"Guys-" He was cut off by the youngest, Jungkook.

"Hyung!" Hoseok's lips parted as he slowly followed the direction where his friends ran into, he froze when he saw his lifeless body on the floor, bathing in his own blood.

Everyone was crying and following Jungkook as he carry his hyung's body out.

Hoseok blinked and found himself running out from the dorm, he didn't know how he arrived outside. He just ran wherever his feet will bring him to.

But then, a woman just appeared out of nowhere and he almost broke his nose out of shock-he realized later on that it was useless to worry about it-the woman was fast and caught him immediately.

"I'm your guardian, Specter."

Hoseok's eyes were still wide open and finally snapped out of his trance after regaining his balance.

"Guardian? So guardians are real?"

The smoke under Vera's feet disappeared as she landed on the ground with her arms crossed, "Well, I'm here, aren't I?"

"So, guardians don't look like us?"

"Do I look like you?"

"Stop saying that!"

The guardian chuckled, amusement playing on her features as she tilted her head to the right, "I see, humans have so many questions."

"What's your name?" Hoseok asked curiously, scanning the guardian's features in awe.

"Vera-Hey! Don't look at me like that, you're so creepy."

"Don't you think you're creepier?"

The guardian glared at him, making the specter pout, "Come and follow me, Hoseok."

"Where?"

"To the spirit's world."

"What? Why?"

"To give you ideas why you're not allowed to roam around."

Hoseok's eyes widened, "What? I'm not allowed? I think I still have an unfinished business that's why I'm not leaving yet, right? Isn't it like that?"

Vera frowned, "You," She pointed at his face, "Humans watched too much movies loaded with misinformation. You really have to come with me."

"But-"

Hoseok was cut off when the Guardian's mist swallowed the both of them, making the specter cough as they disappeared. The dark alley being left alone under the bright moon and billions of stars.
