The clock was about to hit twelve in the morning and still, you're awake and just staring at the key in your hand– yes, you brought it.

The only source of light was the moonlight as it pass through the window blind and the key that's glowing turquoise in the dark.

Hoseok wasn't around, he just informed you that he will stay with Yoongi who's alone at the camper van.

You placed the key on the side table and create a portal with your mist, on the other side was the dorm of Bangtan as you stepped in before it closed.

You went to Namjoon's room where your investigation got interrupted because they came back.

You began to look everywhere to see if there's any evidence, you took a deep breath when you couldn't find any and there's one place left that you haven't check yet.

Your gaze landed at the bed as you crouched down and opened your palm to give light to see the under of the bed.

You frowned when something glint at the corner of your eyes, you clenched your jaw as the grab the thing you saw.

Standing up, you examined the weapon until something flashed at the back of your mind.

"What's that?"

"It's a weapon."

"Why do you have that?"

You gripped the knife tighter and made it disappear in your mist before you created another portal and went back to your room at Lake 192.

But your eyes widened when you saw him holding the key and when he saw you stepping out from a portal.

Taehyung was standing outside your room for too long because he couldn't sleep due to anxiousness on how he will open up to his friends. He kept thinking about it and couldn't sleep, he wants your help.

He took a deep breath and knocked twice but after several minutes of not receiving a reply, he twisted the knob open and opened the door a bit as he peeked in.

He frowned when you were nowhere to be found but his eyes landed on the turquoise thing resting at the side table. Tilting his head on the right, his eyes slowly widened when he finally recognized the thing.

Taehyung no longer care if he's invading your privacy but the fact that you have the key made him anxious even more and why in the world you have it? When he left it in his cabinet.

He turned around when he heard a soft noise from behind, he stiffened at the sight of you stepping out from the portal and he can clearly see how your eyes widened at the sight of him.

Your eyes landed on the key then back to Taehyung, "What are you doing here?"

"Why do you have this?" He could feel it, his insides feels like being pulled in again.

"It's not yours in the first place and I won't say a thing if you'll tell me why you have that hidden in your cabinet, Taehyung."

You both fell silent, eyes staring right into each other's. You, waiting for his answer and being alert in case he will do a move. Taehyung, squinting his eyes and wondering who you really are.

He felt it right from the start, you're not just a simple thief. He knew there's more and he cursed himself for ignoring his presentiment.

"Tell me." There's a warning in your voice as you began to walk towards the singer, he felt his knees starting to tremble due to the scary aura surrounding you.

His eyes widened when you raised your hand up to his eye level, a ball of dark smoke floating above your palm.

"This dark smoke is known for burning everything in just a snap." Taehyung gulped as you made a leaf in your other hand then moved it closer to the dark smoke, the leaf immediately turned into pieces and didn't leave any trace.

You stared at his frightened face, "Tell me before everything gets worst."

His eyes went back to yours, tears welling up in his eyes as he realize the desperation in your voice and eyes.

"Are you... Having a hard time handling everything?" He didn't know if it was necessary especially that you can just throw the dark smoke at him.

Desperation disappeared from your eyes as you stepped back, you shook your head, "J-just tell me why, I'm willing..."

Confusion washed over Taehyung as he watch you sat down on the bed, "Willing?"

"Sooho, why are you so desperate to know my reason?"

You looked at him with a sharp gaze which made him flinch, "Because I won't be able to think of a way if you'll not tell me..."

"What way? Sooho, please tell me what's happening or the situation. I can't just trust you especially with your background and with the way you're acting right now..."

You clenched your fist, "I won't be able to find a way to save you!"
