Vera wakes up bright and early, ready to start her day. However, as she went about her usual routine, she suddenly realized that she didn't have any clothes to wear. It was quite a predicament to be in, but she had to find a solution.

While washing her face, Hoseok appears behind her, causing her to flinch when she sees him in the mirror. He greets the guardian with a wide smile, lips forming a heart shape. "Good morning!" he exclaims cheerfully.

"Morning, Hoseok," She replies, walking out of the bathroom after finishing her routine.

"I suppose you don't have any spare clothes?" he asked.

"Yeah, I'll have to go out and get some from my place,"

"But are you sure they'll let you leave?"

Shrugging, she puts on her coat before stepping out of the room. As she looks for a member to inform them about her situation, she passes by the kitchen and notices everyone settling down.

"Who's going to call the girl?" Taehyung asked.

"Don't count on me," Yoongi replied immediately, taking a forkful of honeydew.

Vera rolls her eyes and enters the kitchen, surprising them. "I need to get some clothes from my apartment,"

"No, we can't let you go alone. We'll accompany you," Namjoon said without hesitation.

"But don't you have rehearsals?"

"We do, but we can do it later," Jin, who's wearing a cute apron, answered. "For now, come and join us for breakfast."

Vera didn't hesitate and occupied the chair between Taehyung and Yoongi that used to belong to Hoseok. "Hi!" She greeted them but Yoongi seemed to take it as a mockery.

She smiled at Taehyung and said, "Hello."

"Let's eat!" Jin exclaimed.

"You should try this," he said, placing a pancake with chocolate syrup on her plate.

She obediently takes a bite, but frowns when it tastes just like the other pancakes. "May I ask what's so special about this?" she asks curiously.

Jin grins widely. "I poured my love and handsomeness into it," he replies.

The other members shake their heads and continue eating. Glancing at Hoseok, who's standing behind Namjoon, and notices a longing look in his eyes as he watches his friends. Suddenly, his gaze met the guardian's.

"Sooho?" Namjoon calls, diverting her attention. He looks at her with confusion

"Yeah?"

"You alright?"

She nods and continues eating, after that Namjoon stands up, "I'll inform Sihyuk pd-nim that we will go to your unit to get some clothes." She replies with a nod as he leaves the kitchen.

"Why do we have to come with her anyway?" Jungkook mumbles with his furrowed brows, unconsciously pouting while playing with his food.

"Because she's staying with us." Jin answers with emphasis in his tone and gives the younger a knowing stare.

Vera and the remaining members stand up to clean the messy table and when everything's clean, she leaves the kitchen with them and of course, Hoseok.

Namjoon was in the living room, looking like the call with Sihyuk pd-nim just ended, he faced the rest of you, "Sihyuk pd-nim allowed Sooho, but we need to be with her and the guards are on their way along with Manager Sejin. They will meet us in her unit."

"Let's go to our ride then." Jimin says and immediately heads to the van, the rest follow as she turns back to see Hoseok, he smiles at her and follows.

The guys let Vera in first so she occupies the seat at the back for the others to not have a hard time going in, "Can I?" Jin asks and gestures at the empty seat beside her, she nods and he sits down.

Looking for Hoseok secretly, Vera almost bursts out laughing when she sees him sitting on Yoongi's lap, his butt going through the other's face.

He looks back at her and winks, which made her smirk. Jin, who notices this, turns to you, "Are you alright?"

The guardian looks at him and smiles a bit which surprised him, "Yeah."

"Wait, where's Namjoon hyung?" Jimin asks which catches her attention.

Everyone turns to the driver's seat when the door on that side opens, "Oh no! Someone stop him!"

She frowns at the chaos and finds it amusing when Jungkook accidentally pushed the leader out when he tried to enter the driver's seat, "I'm sorry, hyung! I'll drive instead." Jungkook, who's sitting in the passenger seat, slides to the other.

Namjoon shakes his head and walks around to enter the seat that the youngest vacated. Vera gives Hoseok a questioning look, "Namjoon destroys almost everything, it's dangerous for him to drive. His dad said that, too!"

"You should give him a chance." That was meant for Hoseok but the guardian forgot that she's not alone in the van.

They turn their heads towards her and the leader peeks cutely from the passenger seat, he smiles and his dimples show, "I think so, too. Thank you, Sooho!"

"Let's just go." Yoongi said, his voice lacing with boredom. Taehyung, who's beside him, gave her an apologetic smile before facing the front.

The engine roared to life as they drove to her unit.

"Your unit is so clean." Jin commented as they entered the guardian's place. They were being chaotic in the doorway, good thing most of the neighbors aren't around or these guys would be recognized.

The guardian immediately heads straight to her room to grab her things with Hoseok tailing behind her, she closes the door and locks it.

"Ahh, I miss being with them." The specter commented watching the guardian grab the bag underneath her bed, then went to her cabinet to grab her things.

"So, this is your plan? Staying at our dorm to investigate my friends?" He asks as he watches the other transfer clothes from the cabinet to the bag.

"It's a part of the plan." She says and goes to the bathroom to get her toiletries.

"Why won't you tell me?"

"I just can't. Stop asking."

Hoseok rolls his eyes as he watches her zip your bag and walk towards the door but before she could reach for the knob, he grabs her arm and spins her around, then pins her against the door with his other hand behind her head to protect it.

He lowers his head to meet her eye level, Vera just stares at him blankly, "You told me you'll help me, but you never told me your own motive."

She frowns, "I don't have a motive, Hoseok. I'm a guardian, it's my job to help my assignment."

Hoseok's jaw clenched, something inside him got triggered with the word assignment and for an unknown reason, he hates the word.

He moves his face closer to hers and tilts his head to the right, "What's your motive, Vera?"
