It was a late Saturday night and you had just arrived home to your shared house with your boyfriend Vinnie. You had quite recently started dating, so you were still getting used to being the Vinnie's girlfriend. The one thing that you didn't like about the relationship was that Vinnie fans always have you hate and death threats ( I pray for Vinnie's future girlfriend, poor girl 😔)
You decided to order some food and flick on the TV, you weren't really tired even though it was nearing 11 o'clock. There wasn't much on Tv but you started flicking through all the channels until you found a movie that looked as though it could be decent.
You missed the start of it but you got quite intrigued so you continued watching, little did you know it was one of the scariest movies out there.
Suddenly there was a massive jump scare, almost giving you a heart attack... you were starting to think watching this was a bad idea but you were determined to find out what happens! You grip onto a pillow and hug it close to you, as if it would protect you from the horrors on the screen.
It was almost halfway through the movie and you spent most of it hiding behind the pillow, your heart was racing. Most normal people would have turned it off by now but you really wanted to prove to yourself that you could sit through a whole horror movie and not get too scared...
But it was a little too late because you were terrified at this point, every little sound or howl of wind made you jump.
Soon enough the movie came to an end, leaving you sitting on the couch staring at a blank screen, too scared to move.
What if there is a killer in the house?
Oh no... I'm going to die!
Yeah, watching the movie was a really bad idea and you really regretted it now, knowing how easily scared you get. Especially being all alone in this huge house. You decide to be brave and head up to the bedroom, hoping you could just fall asleep and forget about all the horrors.
You slowly make you way up the stairs, turning on all the lights as you go - just in case there was actually a murderer inside the house waiting to jump out at you.
You almost make it to the bedroom when you hear a loud bang, causing you to scream out loud and run into the bedroom, locking the door. You run into the closet and hide behind the clothes - you start freaking out and panicking, praying there is no one coming to kill you.
The clothes smelled like Vinnie and you wished so bad he was here right now, he always made you feel so safe and protected. You start to cry, feeling so scared and unable to get a decent breath of air in. All you can do is wrap yourself in a tight ball and cry.
Suddenly you hear someone distantly trying to open the door, you heart rate quickens and you hold your breath, hoping the intruder will not notice you there.
Please don't come in here...
But alas, they must have found the key or picked the lock or something because now you hear footsteps coming towards you. You wrap yourself up tighter, as if the smaller you became, the less noticeable you'd be.
I'm not ready to die! No.. no, no!
"Y/N?"
You snap your head up and let out a huge sigh of relief after hearing Vinnie's gentle voice. You instantly jump out from behind the clothes and leap into Vinnie's arms, holding him tightly as possible.
"Baby, what's wrong? What were you doing in there sweetie?" He asks softly, holding you back just as tight, stroking up and down your back carefully.
"Vinnie! I'm so happy you're here, I was so scared! I-I thought I was going to die!" You start sobbing into his arms.
He picks you up and you hold onto him like a koala, not daring to let go. He walks over to the bed and gently sits down, with you in his lap.
"Calm down love, it's all okay now you're safe I'm right here." He whispers into your ear. Holding you close to him, gently stroking your hair.
He continues to whisper sweet words into your ear, encouraging you to calm down and stop crying.
"What got you so scared, baby?" He asks, wiping the tears from your cheeks.
"I-I was watching a horror movie and it was so scary, Vinnie! A-and then I heard a loud bang and I thought it was someone coming to murder me!"
He smiles, thinking your adorable. "Why would you watch a scary movie sweetheart? I thought you hated horror..."
"I do! I just wanted to see how much I could watch... I didn't think I would get so scared, I was so wrong..." You mumble.
He chuckles softly, pulling you close against him again. "No more horror movies for you then... hm? you have nothing to worry about though, I'll always protect you darling."
"I feel a bit better now, that you're here" you smile sheepishly.
He leans forwards and kisses your lips softly and gently with his wet, pink lips. The kiss made you forget about all the scary thoughts. After a few more kisses you pull back and yawn, covering your mouth.
"Hmm, time for bed I think!" Vinnie laughs.
You were reluctant to leave his safe, warm arms and he seemed to notice.
"Hey, everything's okay baby girl, I wont let anything hurt you" He smiles, reassuring you.
He takes your hand and leads you to the bathroom, where you start getting ready for bed. He doesn't leave your side unless you ask him to, which you were very grateful for as you really didn't want to be left alone, even for a second. He really is the sweetest, most caring boyfriend ever you think to yourself.
He opens the duvet cover for you to hop in, before going around to the other side of the bed and getting in himself. He cuddles you close, so that your head was resting on his chest and his arms were tightly wrapped around you.
"Are you okay love?" He asks gently, placing a sweet kiss on your forehead.
"Mmm, I'm scared to shut my eyes..." you whimper.
"Shh, I'm right here nothing will hurt you my love" He says, holding you even closer.
He begins to talk a soothing voice, his angelic voice making you calm down instantly.
