Truths or Lies

Narrator POV:

Sweet Pea stared into Jughead's eyes to see if there was any hesitation. Any at all but when he saw none he simply nodded his head in understanding. "You got it boss, I'll let my girl know" He says as he stands up from the seat he was just sitting in patting his friend on the shoulders then walked out shutting the door as he left leaving Jughead alone with his thoughts, thoughts that were surrounded around a certain blonde who was carrying his child.

There was never a doubt within Jughead's mind that he liked Betty but liking and wanting to be with her are two very different things, she wasn't a good person that much was clear and at the end of the day everything he is doing, he is doing it to ensure that his son is by his side.

"My son" Jughead mumbles to himself as he stares off into space, the thought of holding him as soon as he is born brings a small smile to Jughead's lips and the fact that she wanted to keep him away from him, only angered Jughead and wanted nothing more than for Betty Cooper- Andrews to pay for what she was thinking on doing. His mission wasn't only to kidnap her but to destroy her as well, the things he knows about her, things that her beloved husband said about her without him knowing who she really was is the perfect ammo to use against her as soon as he has her within his grasp.

While Jughead was lost within his thoughts, Sweet Pea walked out of the Whyte Wyrm and pulled out his phone, debating whether to text Veronica or to call her, he paced back and forth and simply decided to call her and within the first two rings he heard her "Hello"

"Ronnie, change of plans. We're taking her tonight" He states.

Across town, Veronica grips onto the phone and stares towards the blonde that was currently sitting across from her in a booth they are currently sharing since Veronica suggested they get to know each other, a small smile begins to creep onto her face as she listens to what her boyfriend is telling her, carefully analyzing everything he is saying and trying her best to make sure Betty doesn't notice a thing.

"You got it babe, I got it all under control" Veronica then says, causing the blonde who was previously looking down at the menu but is now looking directly at a woman she just met and gave her a smile, a smile that Veronica instantly returned "See you tonight, love you" She then says, taking the phone away from her ear and hangs up, placing her phone inside of her purse then looks up towards the woman they are plotting against.

"Boyfriend?" Betty then asks, the smile still placed onto her lips as she awaits the answer of her new friend, or so she thinks. Veronica simply smirked and nodded her head slowly, "How long have you two been together?" Betty then asks, curiosity sitting in and genuinely wanting to know.

"It's actually quite new. We met a few months back through my father, I liked him instantly but due to our financial differences and our different social status. I held it in for a few months up until about a few weeks ago, he was about to go out with a friend of mine and I got insanely jealous and that's when everything went out the window and I decided to go for it so I told him, thankfully he liked me back and ever since then we've been together." The Raven haired princess says with a shrug, a cute smile replacing her smirk as she thought about her boyfriend who's done nothing but keep her happy but then shook it off and let out a sigh looking back over to Betty and decided to ask her a few questions of her own to see how bad she actually is.

"Anyways, I see you have a ring on your finger, so that means you're married?" Veronica then asks, of course she already knew the answer but she wanted to see what Betty told her. Betty looked down at her ring and surprisingly slid both of her hands down from the table and placed them on both sides of her legs, running a hand through her golden locks then placed it on the top of her growing belly. "Yeah but lately things haven't been the same, and if i'm being honest things haven't really been good between us for a while now" Betty's response caused Veronica to widen her eyes in pure shock, wondering if she actually heard what she heard but as the blonde continued she realized that Betty was actually opening up to her, a stranger nonetheless. "Truthfully I think we're still married simply because I'm pregnant but if only he knew the truth"

Veronica narrowed her eyes and thought about asking, despite she knew what she meant she was curious whether Betty would tell her the truth or not but as she was about to speak her phone rang, interrupting them. Veronica smiled over at Betty as she grabbed her phone out of her purse and mumbled a soft 'sorry' and quickly answered without checking who it was, her eyes widening when it was her ex-lover.

"I miss you" He says to her causing Veronica to roll her eyes, but her eyes not leaving Betty as she continues to listen to her ex trying his best to woo her back in.

Across town, inside of Andrew's construction, Archie was gripping tightly onto his phone as if his life depended on it. His voice soft and tender as he continued to speak to the woman he's fallen in love with but had to leave because Betty got pregnant "i miss you, please if you still have feelings for me then please I beg you meet me at our usual spot" But before he could finish, Reggie bursted into his office, "I need to talk to you, Now!" He exclaims, causing Archie to hang up the phone without saying goodbye to his mistress and looked over at Reggie with furrowed eyebrows.

"Okay, what about?" He then asked.

Reggie closed the door behind him and sat in the chair across from Archie and without hesitating he began "Betty is cheating on you with Jughead Jones."

A/N: Sorry that this took longer than expected but I hope you guys all enjoyed this chapter, this is more like a filler chapter mixed with a lot of new information especially since Betty's kidnapping is coming.
