Today was… interesting. After my talk with Hae-in this morning the day felt normal, but when I left the classroom during break to get something from the vending machine, some guy ran into me. He didn’t say anything, and instead his friend kept apologizing. He also spoke English to the guy who ran into me.

Either way, school is over. I guess I’m going to meet Hae-in’s soulmate who should be nearby. I look over to Hae-in who is gathering her things. She wanted to keep the soulmate thing more on the down low, and I can get that.

She stands up and nods to me before we exit the classroom. She looks down at her wrist which is a yellow color. It isn’t bright, but it is yellow.

I hear snickering from behind me. Then someone puts their arm on my shoulder. I look at who it is. It's a guy who's smirking. I think he's from the class just down the hallway. 12th grade?

"Hey baby, whatchu doin Friday?" He asks.

I roll my eyes and push his arm off of my shoulder. "Bother someone else. I'm not interested." I continue walking.

"You don't even know what I was gonna ask you to do."

"Cause I don't care." I say looking at him.

Then I stop and look back at the source of the snickering. One of them looks familiar. It's the kid who ran into me. The other isn't there.

     "Oh come on."

I feel like punching him. However, with Hae-in next to me, I won't. She tugs on my sleeve and I start walking again.

"Just ignore them." Hae-in whispers to me.

I nod and try to continue walking. But then he steps in front of me. I start to roll up my sleeves. If he wants to go, we can go. But not here. I should probably keep up appearances. As class president, I really shouldn't get in a fight.

"Is it hot in here? Maybe we should go outside. Get some fresh air. Hm?" Then I walk forward, shoulder hitting his as I pass him. I hear Hae-in scurry after me.

"Dude you should stop." A voice says. I don't bother turning around because I don't care.

I walk with Hae-in to the school gates. I roll down my sleeves and scoff. "Those boys are annoying. I feel bad for whoever has to be their soulmate."

"I'm just glad you didn't start a fight with him."

"I was tempted. I really was-"

And then I see who I believe is Hae-in's soulmate. Wow he's tall. And attractive. Good job girl. Go get yo man. He sees us and smiles. He waves and I see the glowing yellow mark on his wrist.

"Hi Seok-woo oppa," She says quietly. "Ah, this is my friend."

I nod my head at him. "I'll leave you two to yourselves. Good job Hae-in." I look at Seok-woo one more time before walking away with a smirk.
