Chapter 15: Not the Finals

The bell chimes for lunch and I meet up with Kiyoko. She hands me some flyers and we set off on finding a new team manager. It's been days of searching and no one seems to be that interested so far. I ask around the first year guys while Kiyoko asks the girls. First year boys sure are something, either they're rude as hell or they're trying to get my number this is ridiculous. I walk over to Kiyoko who's talking to this sweet looking blonde girl. As I walk over I see how nervous the girl is and she seems to be shaking.

"Hey are you okay?" I ask her.

"Oh uh yes! I'm totally okay!" She squeaks.

"Alright then sunshine." I walk away and pat her back.

I walk around the school more until I reach Suga's class. We still have 15 minutes left of lunch I can swing by and say hello. I sneak up behind him and put my hands over his eyes.

"Guess who~"

"Whoa your hands are cold Sugar!" Suga grabs my hands and sits me down on the empty chair next to him. He pulls the chair closer to him and picks up my hands again.

"How's your day been Kōshi?"

"Not so bad but it's absolutely amazing now that you're here." He says as he starts kissing my cold hands.

"You feel like ice, I'm going to have to hold your hands more often." I giggle at his comment as I leaned my head closer to his and rubbed my cold nose against his neck. Suga jumped a little at the sudden cold contact and he pulled away to look at me.

"Okay that's it come here I'm holding you till the bell rings then I'll walk you to class." He pulls me into his body, my hands up against his chest, face nuzzled into his neck and his arms wrapped around me.

"But if you walk me to my class you'll be late to yours."

"I have study hall next so it's fine." That's a lie he has Japanese next. He's a dork for thinking I didn't memorize his class order. Still I love him for trying to make sure I don't worry.

I run in as practice starts seeing Kiyoko enter with the blonde girl from earlier hiding behind her.

"Oh hey so you decided to check the place out? Nice." I say while patting her shoulder.

"Hey guys get your assess over here." I yell out to the guys.

"We have a potential new manager."

The guys flock around her some fawning over her cuteness others just happy to have a new manager. I look over and see that the new girl is terrified out of her mind.

"Hey don't worry about them they aren't very scary, here watch this." I say as I walk over to Daichi and give him one swift kick to the back of the knees. She watches as Daichi topples to the ground and I laugh my ass off at my brother's fall.

I look around the gym only to see Sugawara holding back Tanaka and Noya and scolding then for scaring the new girl, who's name I now learned is Yachi. I walk over and give Noya and Tanaka the same swift kick I gave Daichi and they both fall forwards.

"See sometimes you have to skip the holding back and go straight for neutralizing." I smile up at Suga.

As practice comes to an end Takada starts talking about finals and my brain starts doing insane backflips as to how I'm going to pass. I start chewing on my lip out of habit and I feel Suga whisper into my ear, "If you keep chewing on your lip it'll bleed." My face flushes red and I immediately stop chewing my lip and just purse them instead.

"So what were you so nervous about earlier?" Suga asks as he walks me home.

"Finals."

"Oh well you know I can help you study if you'd like, I can even tutor you on some things if you need."

"Thanks in just worried about my science class, I have my language classes down."

"Well I can definitely help you with that but I'll be studying with you because I need it too." Suga laughs. I lean into his arm and sigh. Maybe if Suga helps I have a better shot at passing my finals.

Once we reach my house I let Suga in and we walk into my room.

"Eat then study or study then eat?" Suga asks setting his bag down on my bed.

"Uhh you shower I'll make food then we study."

"Sounds good to me." He says as he leans in and starts kissing my lips. I kiss back then lightly push him away.

"You're all sweaty." I whine. Suga flashes me a smirk before he pulls me into a tight hug and I squirm. I blow a raspberry on his cheek and he quickly sets me down.

"Okay okay okay I'm going I'm going." He gives me one last peck on the lips before he makes his way to the hallway bathroom.

As I finish up making some soba for dinner Daichi walks in.

"Hey where have you been?"

"Oh I got held up at school helping a teacher with some stuff."

"Ah okay, want some soba?"

"Uhh sure, is Suga in the shower?"

"Not anymore." Suga calls out as he enters the kitchen.

"Alright then, y/n just save me some."

"No promises but I'll try."

Suga and I sit down together and divy up the soba into three parts and we quickly eat our share.

"Okay ready to study?"

"Yeah I guess so."

It's been about two hours of Suga and I studying side by side and I cannot take it anymore. God please why can't I just learn this. I am so tired of studying. I try to hit my head against the desk but Suga's hand cushions the impact. I look at him through the corner of my eye and see that he's still intently looking at his paper.

"Why are you trying to hurt yourself?"

"I'm not I'm just so done with this." I groan. He turns to look at me and let's out a soft smile.

"It's okay let's do something else, we have a month until finals. That's plenty of time." I smile at his response and just lay my head on his lap as he continues to study. His fingers softly play with my hair and massage my scalp as he continues studying. I feel my eyes start to get heavy and I start to fall asleep. Just before sleep swallows me whole I feel the head massage stop and a blanket cover my body. I let out a soft sigh as the massage begins again and I hear a soft sweet humming coming from Suga that luls me to sleep.

Okay this was going to be a lot longer but I have cramps so I'm stopping here for today.

Also I'm trying to figure out what fan fiction I'm going to write after this one and I can't decide if it should be a Haikyuu one or a My Hero Academia one what do y'all think? (Also don't worry I'm looking far ahead this fan fic is no where near done yet 😅)
