Time for a fluffy one shot with our cute little doppio ♡

You sighed and leaned back in your chair. You had finished all the paperwork for your bills and shit when your phone went off.

You answered the phone. "hello?"

"Y/N! It's me, Doppio!" you heard.

Doppio was your childhood friend that you met when you were what? 11,12 years old? It had been almost 10 years.

"Doppio? It's been forever" you said, laying on the bed with your phone. "any particular reason your calling me?"

"well, I was in town and was wondering if you wanted to hang out" he asked nervously. You could hear the shyness in his voice, even though the phone.

"well sure. Where do you wanna meet?" you ask. "I'm free all week"

"how about tomorrow at the arcade?" he suggested.

"Oh geez. I haven't been to the Arcade in ages. So I guess I see you there. 11:00?"

"sounds good Y/N!" you heard the excitement in his voice. "I'll see you tomorrow then"

"Yeah. See you tomorrow Doppio" you said and hung up. You put your phone back you threw yourself onto your bed after turning off the lights and screamed into your pillow. You didn't know why you did, but you felt better after.

It took you about an hour to fall asleep. You didn't really have any dreams, and if you did you couldn't remember.

You woke up the next morning feeling excited and refreshed. You got up, did your teeth etc. You put on a F/C t-shirt, a jacket and jeans/skirt/shorts.

You ran out the house and to the mall, where the Arcade was. You waited outside, playing on your phone when you heard someone cough to get your attention.

You looked up to see Doppio. You out your phone away and ran up to him and hugged him. "Doppio! It's been so long! We have so much to catch up on"

He hugged you back then you both parted. "yeah. so what did you wanna do first?"

"bet I could still beat you at Mortal Kombat" you smirked.

He smiled. "it's great to see you again, Y/N" you smiled back and grabbed his hand.

"come on" you said, pulling him into the Arcade. "let's go"

The familiar techno music was playing as you and Doppio ran to the row of Mortal Kombat machines. You ran up to one and Doppio ran to the other.

"I bet I can still kick your ass" you smirked and chose Sub-zero. Doppio chose Scorpion and the match began.

You ended up winning. "Banzai!" you said. "I knew I still had it in me"

"damn. You beat me Y/N"

"I told you I would" you teased. "what would you like to play next?"

"I saw a stuffed F/A in one of the claw machines" he said. "I could win it for you"

"Aww Doppio~" you hugged him, making him blush. "thank you so much"

He showed you the claw machine and sure enough there was a cute F/A plush in there. You squished your face up to the glass. "Wooow!"

Doppio smile then turned into a blush as you grabbed his hands. "Doppio. That is the cutest thing I've ever seen" you said. "if you won't that, you would be my new favourite person"

Doppio blushed. Your favourite person? He would love to be your favourite person and it all depended on this stuffed F/A.

He nodded. Eyes full of determination and got out a token. He slipped in the token and moved the claw above the animal. You waited behind him, practically dancing with excitement.

The claw lowered and picked up the animal. It moved to the 'prize hole'(I don't know what theyre called) before dropping it in. Doppio brought it out and handed it to you, proud of his little accomplishment.

Your face lit up with glee as you hugged the stuffed F/A into your chest. "well, it looks like your my new favourite person~" you smirked and kissed his cheek, making his face erupt in at least 3 different shades of red.

He held his cheek where you had kissed it as you walked to the next game.

You and Doppio had spent all day together, but all good things must come to an end, and you had to go home. He walked with you back to your house.

"So, Doppio" you said, hugging the stuffed F/A to your chest. "you must be leaving town huh?" you asked.

He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. He wanted more than anything to take you with him, but its not like you would want to.

"well... Yeah"

"would you like to come inside?" you ask. "if it's the last time I'll see you for a while, then I would at least like to make you a drink or something" you shrugged. He blushed lightly.

"I-if you don't mind"

"Well of course not" you said, unlocking the door. "come in"

You and Doppio walked to the kitchen. "would you like some camomile?" you ask. "I've hot loads but I never really drink it"

"that sounds great, Y/N" he smiled as you started to boil some water.

"so what brought you here?" you ask. "I know it wasn't me"

"I'm here on a business trip" he explained.

"Ohhhh you must have a pretty cool job" you said and started to pour the tea.

"it's not really that interesting" he said, messing with his fingers. "it's nice to see you again though" he smiled.

You handed him the tea. "it's great to see you too Doppio" you said, and took a sip.

"hey Y/N" he said, grabbing your attention. "at the arcade.. When you... Kissed me. Did it mean anything?" he asked. It was something that had been bothering him all day and needed to know.

You blushed. "look, as my new favourite person in the world, your entitled to things that normies aren't. Such as.."

"can I hug you?" he asked. You shrugged and let him hug you. "so.. can kiss you again?" he said. You blushed.

"I-If you want" you said, letting him loosen his grip on you. He pressed his lips to yours in a quick but sweet kiss.

"there's another reason I'm here" he said. "I volunteered to come here because I wanted to see you again" he said.

You were still blushing from the kiss. "Y-You did?"

"yes. Because, Y/N, I love you!"

"I love you too"
