You sat down on your desk, patting your black cat, C/N, reading a book when there was a knock at the door. You jumped, it was at least 2AM, who would be out at this time. C/N jumped off your lap and followed you to the door, staying close to your legs as they did.

You opened the door only by a crack to see a tall man standing there. He had blonde hair and hazel eyes that seemed to glow in the darkness.

"Hello?" you said, C/N now wrapping their long tail around your legs protectively. "can I help you?" you asked.

He smirked. "it's Y/N, right?"

Your eyes widened, how did he know your name? "who's asking?"

"oh, sorry. How rude of me. My name is Dio. Dio Brando. I've heard that you sell a variety of poisons" he said, in a soft voice that made shivers run down your spine. "I was wondering if you could help me with something"

You wanted to send him on his way but decided against it and let him in. "so, what is it you need?" you ask, walking over to the shelves that held a variety of different coloured bottles.

"any poison will do" he said. "I have naught poison before but they were shut down a while ago"

"Wang Chan?" you said.

"yes. How did you know?" Dio asked.

"I knew him" you said and picked up a small bottle. You handed it to Dio. "here. It's not strong but if you put it into their drink everyday they'll die eventually" you explained. "that way it'll just look like they got a disease"

He took the small bottle from your hands and stared at you for a moment. "and why are you helping me?" he asked. "you know your giving me something to kill someone"

You thought for a moment. "money" you said. "it's a good enough reason for me. Let's just say that my specific skill set isn't really good for much except making poisons among other things"

"I see" Dio replied. "so how much do you want?"

Dio bought the poison and walked to the door. "Y/N. I know about your secret" he said, turning his head slightly.

"what are you talking about?"

"your a witch, aren't you? They're known for making potions and dealings with the occult" he said. Your eyes widened. Witches would be burned at the steak, if anyone found out about you...

"H-How did you know-"

He turned around and looked into your E/C eyes with his hypnotic hazel ones. "let's call it intuition" he smirked and turned back. "if your worried ill tell. Don't be"

"how do I know I can trust you?" you asked, gulping as C/N hissed.

"well, let's make a deal. How about it?" he said, sticking his hand out for you to shake. You raised an eyebrow, this man wanted something you knew that much, but what?

"what?"

He smirked. "ill come back here tomorrow. I need your help with something"

At the time, you didn't know what you were getting into. He ended up bringing some aztec looking mask and asked you what it was.
