Strong - Sequel To Denial - NS -COMPLETE

Chapter 12

~ 6th Month ~

I was currently at my parent's house with my parents and my siblings. Julian was at next me on one side and Sasha was on the other whereas Thomas was sat with my mum and my dad was sat in his old armchair. Nathan was at work and I was having a good old natter with my family.

We were talking about the bay and looking at the scan pictures again. My family didn't know the gender yet. They were just s clueless as Nathans family and we were planning on doing a baby shower/gender reveal at the same time.

We were gonna hold the party when I'm at 7 months. We were gonna hold it at our house and meet Nathan's family at the train station when they arrive.

"So, when are you gonna tell us the gneder?" My mum asks as I smile.
"Next month. We're gonna hold a baby shower/gender reveal so, you'll find out then." I say as she nods, "I'm actually really excited for bean to come. I'm more excited than worried because I have a good feeling that they'll be absolutely fine." I say as my mum smiles.

Julian wraps his arms around me as I wrap my arms around him.

"I'm happy that it's gonna be fine. I wish I could've met Luke." Julian says as I feel a lump form in my throat before clearing it.
"I know, Julian. I know." I say as he pulls away and smiles at me.

I stay at my parents for another hour or so before Nathan picks me up and we head home.

Once we get home, Nathan puts the kettle on and makes us both a cuppa as I get the scrapbook and put it on the table so we can start planning the party.

"So, if we were having a boy we would have..." I trail off as Nathan looks at the plans.
"Blue and red confetti in the party poppers." Nathan says as I nod.
"And the girl is gonna have pink and yellow confetti?" I ask as Nathan nods.

We were making our own confetti and homemade party poppers to reveal the gender of our bean. We also decided that we were gonna have a homemade buffet, that Nathan had kindly offered to cook for, so everyone could choose what they wanted to eat instead of having to choose something on the spot.

"Anything else we need to plan before the party?" I ask as Nathan shrugs.
"I don't think so. We need tod ecorate the nursery but, we won't do that until after the party since we don't want someone walking in a knowing the gender before the reveal." Nathan says as I nod.
"Okay, so we're all sorted then?" I aks as Nahan nods.
"Yeah. We should write the invitations and send them out now then." Nathan says as I nod and we do that before going to post them.

We posted them in the letter box, which was conveniently placed across the street from our house, before sorting out what we wanted to eat or tea.

After tea, we decided to watch a couple of films before going to bed and having an early night. Planning a party was exhausting but now that's out of the way we have that and bean's arrival to look forward to.

Okay guys! I know I'm getting through this really quickly and it's supposed to be slow updates but I've had TONS of inspiration and can't wait to write them all down.

Once I run out of inspiration, it'll be slow updates again and I'm sorry for the long wait on chapters. I've had awful, awful, terrible writers block and this is the first time in months that I've had so much inspiration.

I swear, being a writer is hard wok.
