"Eva, I am so proud of you." Nathan tells me after we had eaten tea and put the kids to bed.
I was currently washing the pots while Nathan was drying them and putting them away.
"You are?" I ask as he nods.
"Of course I am. Look how far we've come from first meeting each other, to getting married, losing Luke, having Kaelynn and Tyler." Nathan says as I shrug.
"Why are you proud of me for that?" I ask as Nathan smiles once we'd finished doing the pots.
"That's not the only thing I'm proud of you for..." He trails off as I sit on the sofa with him, "I'm proud of the way you've handled things. From being in a wheelchair to walking again." Nathan says as I smile at him.
"I had to stay strong for you and the kids." I reply as Nathan kisses me softly.
"I know and I'm so so proud of you." He says as I smile.
I cuddle into Nathan as we sit and watch a movie together.
I can't believe how far we've come.
First the crash, then Nathan becomes my first boyfriend and we get engaged and get married. We then had Luke and got through losing him together as a couple then had Kaelynn. Then I learnt how to walk again and we had Tyler. We have also only had maybe 3 or 4 fights.
Through all the bumps and ups and downs in the relationship, we have both stayed strong and now we have the perfect family and the perfect life. I wouldn't have my life any other way.
I wouldn't change my family for the world and without Nathan, I wouldn't have gotten through all of this.
