Chapter 5

*Rose's Pov*

- a month later -

I walked into the house at 7 o'clock on the dot.

My father was already home, and he looked mad. I tried to walk upstairs but he blocked the staircase.

"Where were you." He snapped.

"I was at the neighbors house." I said, quietly.

"Oh you mean the young man next door?" He asked, getting in my face.

"Yeah why.." I said, trying to walk upstairs.

"What is he your new boyfriend or something?" He asked, with a serious face.

"No.. He's just my friend.." I said pushing past him.

He shoved me and I fell onto the stairs.

I winced at the pain, I just smashed my knee against the edge of a step.

"A friend? Bullshit, What are you two fucking or something!?" He yelled.

"No!" I yelled back.

He grabbed my mouth with his large masculine hands. He squeezed my face till I felt my bones about to break.

"Don't you fucking yell at me you worthless brat. Now listen to me. I don't want you ever seeing that neighbor boy again. You're 17 stop acting like a slut." He said.

"I'm almost 18! You can't control me forever!" I said running away from him.

"You're worthless trash, without me you wouldn't have shit! If I ever catch you with him again, you'll regret being born!" I heard him yell, as he punch a wall.

I closed my door, and sat on my bed. I stared at the lavender walls of my room, covered in posters. Tyler's given me some, and I have a lot from Justin too. Since my dad never gets me anything, anything in my room is from my friends or family.

I looked at the poster of Sworn in and admired Tyler. He looked adorable.

My phone vibrated in my pocket, interrupting my train of thought.

"Hey love, is everything alright? I heard yelling and loud bangs coming from your house.." Tyler wrote.

"No.. My dad flipped out because I was with you.. I'm not aloud to see you anymore.." I said, starting to cry.

My heart sank just saying that.

I wobbled over to my window, and sat on the windowsill. I had space between each wall, and I put some pillows there so I could sit.

I looked across the way, and saw Tyler standing in his window too.

I wiped the tears off my face and smiled faintly. He put his hand on his window, and I did the same. It was like we where reaching for each other.

I looked down at my phone and saw that he texted back.

"Rose.. I'll do everything I possibly can to see you, you're my best friend I'm not just going to give you up like that.." He said.

My phone vibrated again.

"And by the way, you're too beautiful to cry. Cheer up sunshine."

- the next day -

I woke up to the sound of the door slamming. Does he really need to do that every single time he leaves for work.

I yawned, and got out of bed.

I walked over to bathroom, and hoped in the shower.

When I was done washing up, I got out.

I wrapped the towel around myself, and dried off. I walked into my room, and jumped.
