Chapter 7

*Rose's Pov*

I woke up today, and smiled. It's Saturday, and I finally have a day off from that hellhole.

I got out of bed, and was astonished at what was outside. There was atleast a foot of snow on the ground, and it was still snowing hard.

I love the snow so much, I always have since I was a little girl.

I ran downstairs and went outside.

I was only wearing a tshirt, pajama pants and slippers, but I don't care.

I stood outside in the snow, and let it hit my face. I breathed in the cold crisp air, and listened to the silence. The only sound outside was the sound of the wind.

I walked back inside and changed into warmer clothes.

I put on the Sworn in crewneck that Tyler gave me, leggings and boots.

I walked back outside and relaxed for a minute.

I looked over and saw Tyler's room light on. I haven't seen him in a few days.. I wonder if he's okay.

I walked over towards his house and knocked on the door.

I waited for a moment, till Zack opened the door.

"Hey Rose! What's up?" He asked.

"Hey Zack, is Tyler home?" I asked.

"Yeah, he's upstairs in the shower. You can go wait in his room if you want." He said, smiling.

"Okay, thank you!" I smiled.

I walked in and took my shoes off.

I looked in the living room and saw a nice fire roaring in the fire place, illuminating the whole room and feeling it with it's warm heat.

I jogged up the stairs, and went in Tyler's room.

I waited for a few minutes, and heard the shower turn off.

Tyler got out, and I heard him getting dressed.

When he opened the door, he saw me, and smiled.

He was wearing black skinny jeans and a black shirt that said "I'd rather be let down than be a let down." With a white flower on it.

"Hey." He mummbled.

"Hey, I haven't seen you in a few days, are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah I'm fine." He said.

I could tell by the tone in his voice, that he was lying.

"Tyler.. I can tell you're lying.." I said, quietly.

"so what if I am.." He said, sitting on his bed.

I sat down next to him, and put my hand ontop of his.

"Rose.. Why.." He asked.

"Why what?" I asked back.

"Why did you walk home with another guy, and not talk to me all day.. Is he your boyfriend or something?" He replied, in a sad tone.

"No? That's Justin.." I said.

He looked up at me.

"Then why did you guys kiss.." He asked.

My heart stopped.

How does he know?

"Have you been spying on me." I asked, furiously.

"No! I was in my room writing a song and I looked and saw you two making out in your window!" I scowled.

I got up and just looked at him. He had a tear in his eye, but he wiped it away quickly.

"Tyler, are you cr-"

"No." He said cutting me off.

"Do you want me to leave.." I asked quietly.

"I don't care what you do." He said.

Kinda felt my heart break when he said that.

I turned away, without another word.

I walked down the stairs trying to fight back the tears.

Zack looked at me.

"Rose what's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing, I'm fine.. I said putting on my shoes.

"Are you sure?" He asked

"Yeah I'm fine, I'll see you later." I said, walking outside.

I walked home and ran upstairs.

I flopped down on my bed, and started to cry.

I don't know why that hurt so bad but it did.
