Chapter 13

*Rose's Pov*

I woke up to an empty bed.

Weird.

I got up and took a quick shower.

After I dried off I wrapped the towel around myself and got my clothes.

I picked out some white leggings, and my new sworn in crewneck.

After brushing my teeth I grabbed my phone

Now that I feel clean, I'm gunna go make breakfast.

I put on my slippers and walked downstairs.

When I got to the bottom of the stairs I could smell delicious food.

I walked into the kitchen and saw Zack and May sitting on the barstools infront of the counter and Tyler cooking.

"Happy birthday!" They cheered.

"I'm making chocolate chip pancakes, and bacon for everyone." Tyler smiled.

"Aw tyler!" I said hugging him.

"You think that's cute, wait till you see what Zack and I got for you." Tyler said, handing me a plate.

I sat down and ate with them, we talked about today silly things, and everyone was telling jokes. I couldn't stop laughing.

I looked around and saw the house was decorated. Streamers, balloons, even a "Happy 18th Birthday Rose!" Banner was hanging. There was enough food and drinks out to feed the whole town.

"Damn guys." I blushed.

No one has ever thrown me a birthday party before, holy shit this was amazing.

I looked outside and other people from my school where walking over.

"Tyler how do you know them?" I asked in shock.

"I don't.. I went on facebook and invited people from your school, it's like an open invite. I wanted you to have you friends here with you to celebrate." He smiled.

"That's quite clever!" I cheered.

"Go put on your fancy black dress rose." May smirked. "You finally have an occasion big enough to wear it again."

"Okay!" I squeaked excitedly, and darted upstairs.

She gave me a gorgeous designer dress for my 16th birthday, she had always been into fashion, and she said I needed a nice dress for school dances and what not. I smiled thinking about old memories.

I changed into the dress and brushed my hair again.

After drawing on my eyeliner wings, and putting mascara on.. I finally felt like a princess.

"Hey pretty lady how do you look?" I heard may giggle from the doorway.

I turned around and she squealed.

"It's like sophomore year homecoming all over again!" She teased.

"Yeah but without the Braces." I said, cringing at the thought of those horrid things.

They made my teeth look amazing but man did they hurt.

"Heels or flats??" I asked her.

"Definitely flats because you're gunna be on your feet most of the day and you don't wanna get blisters or have sore feet." She smiled.

"Very observant may, thank you." I said slipping my shoes on.

I walked downstairs and saw all my other friends from school sitting in the living room mingling, and eating some of the snacks.
