Chapter 8

*Tylers Pov*
I feel so bad for being an asshole.. I didn't mean it.

I do care, I care about everything that involves her.

Rose's Prom is tonight. I'm going to ask her to go with me.

I got in my car and drove to the nearest grocery store.

When I walked inside, the first thing that I went to get was flowers.

I looked at all of the neatly wrapped bouquets.

I picked out the one that had white roses and purple wild flowers in it.

After I payed I drove back to the house.

I pulled out my phone and texted Rose.

Tyler: "come over?"

I waited patiently for a reply.

Rose: "why.."
Tyler: "just come over :)"

I looked outside and saw Rose walking over, the greatest thing is that she lives right next door.

When she got inside she was unusually quiet.

"what's wrong.." I asked her.

"Nothing." She answered.

She paused and looked at me.

"My dad's gone for the weekend, by the way." She laughed.

"That's amazing!" Exclaimed.

I smiled and looked at her.

"I need to ask you something." I said, holding the flowers behind my back.

"What?" She asked.

"Rose, may I do the honors of taking to prom tonight?" I said, holding out the flowers.

She smiled and took them.

"yes." She said hugging me.

I wrapped my arms around her, and just held her for a moment. All I could smell was her sweet perfume.

"Shit that's in like an hour! I have to go get ready!" She said, scrambling towards the door.

"Oh, and Tyler these flowers are beautiful thank you so much." She smiled.

- an hour later -

Rose met me out in my car.

I was astonished at how beautiful she looked.

She was wearing a flow flowing purple dress and her hair was straightened, and it was down to her back.

Her make up was especially beautiful. She drew on beautiful wings with eyeliner, and glittery eyeshadow on her eyelids.

I was wearing a tuxedo, with a black tie. I took out my piercings and put studs in so I looked a lot less.. Well goth.

"Wow you look so handsome." She said, blushing when she sat down.

"Rose you look, gorgeous.. Flawless might I add." I said, awestruck.

"Thank you love." She smiled.

A warm feeling ran through my chest when she said that.

I drove for about ten minutes, till we got to the school.

The school was brightly lit, with a loud music echoing out the doors through the parking lot.

When we walked inside, there where a lot of people crowded in the gym.

A perky girl with long blonde curls walked over to us.

"May!" Rose smiled.

"Hey girly, ooh who's the cutie." She teased.
